  1. NAS was a spin off of Rotatech, after a while they jacked in the NSA part of it and concentrated on the core business, chipper blade's etc. of Rotatech. That was my understanding of it.
  2. Some days sneak up on you, starts off a bit glum then the sun comes out, the machines work great, everything really falls into place, and you drive home in a good mood. This was the last stem of a 4 stem white poplar, the rest was partly rigged, this one fell on its sword easy enough. IMG_2650.MOV
  3. After years of being B in Stephen Blair’s photo, I am now firmly an A. Thanks mostly to an insistence by my accountant for monthly figures, receipts and invoices. I pay VAT monthly. Being crap at this stuff doesn’t make you a hero or a free spirit, it means you’re not doing your job as a self employed/business owner.
  4. I’m as guilty as anyone of this. Good reminder, thanks, and best of luck in your recovery.
  5. I’d put you at 20 stone (ish) I used to love quiz night at the local. Smart phones and the internet put an end to that.
  6. Smashing quiz thanks. Richard Osman you ain’t!
  7. Everyone I know uses stretch rather than worn with regards to chains that hang loose after a few minutes. I suspect they always will, maybe best to get used to it.
  8. It ain’t shrunk, that’s for sure.
  9. The chain as a whole does stretch though doesn’t it? It gets longer after a few minutes/cuts. How else would you describe it?
  10. Every autumn I buy these for me and the hired man from the hire shop. The inner warmer smaller bit can zip into the outer rain proof bit if you want. We tend to keep them separate depending on the weather. €60 iirc. Chuck em away in the spring and get a new one.
  11. Resplendent in them on the sofa right now.
  12. Lost me Stu…
  13. It’s become my life’s work.
  14. Can you show us a picture of the truck?
  15. Much easier and cheaper to buy a tipper and get an arb body fitted.
  16. You can spend a tenner a day feeding and watering yourself from garages etc. in England, if you smoke tailor mades you can double that.
  17. It’s intended to make you angry, you’re being played.
  18. Give them to the new owner yer tightarse!
  19. Ok, it’s a bitter pill to swallow. Hope you can move forward.
  20. Sorry you got conned by this guy, but c’mon why didn’t you put in checks and balances to ensure this didn’t happen?
  21. Give them a call. A busy bloke might just say ‘yeah, come tomorrow, big job on, could use another pair of hands’ Emails are easy to ignore. I started aged 31 in ‘95, your age is well within the range, even preferable because often you’re more focused. Good luck.
  22. Watch the vid, Jake explains the accident.
