Something thats been on my mind… That ad for Nationwide, where the rich banker takes a call from his spoilt little bitch of a daughter in Antibes asking for money to fly home.. Then the Romesh Ranganathan lookalike tells him it’s not a scam etc. The last ad in the séries showed her gloating about her mother (his ex wife) getting reamed out by her yoga teacher, basically calling her real dad (and his employer) breadheads, you know the one. Anyway, let the ungrateful bitch hitch home, or pick grapes to earn enough for a coach back across the Channel.

I let my nephew take the MK1 back to the UK when he left, the junior uses the MK2, though he has recently started using a micro-pulley under a prussik, which he likes.

Yes, is that the right terminology? You set yourself up in postion, then try to move a bit for whatever reason and the rope has trickled through the ZZ and you are locked in place.

If you are really interested in stopping the gubmint from controlling and monitoring your life then it’s not id cards you need to worry about, they de facto exist anyway, it’s cash. Use it whenever possible, make sure shops realise they need to keep taking it oryou will go to ones that do. Without cash they can track you and shut you down remotely at the press of a button for wrongthink.

Well, my easy day yesterday turned out to be a bit of a nightmare, hedge full of wire and god knows what. Got it done though, with no real machine damage. Easy lime repollard today, chance for the youngster to do what he likes best. Picking up sticks duties for me! Enjoy your friday!

Do it yourself, but very lightly with a flat file, and don’t shorten them as it alters the angle of attack, rendering them useless.
