  1. I’ve got one of those and one of the newer style Husky cans. Never had a problem with either really, other than snapping a file in the holder which I’ve never bothered to remove.
  2. Around 30k for a brand new one. Secondhand ones are very rare! The fella who makes them has not long churned out his 50th machine so they’re still in their infancy really. My machine is number 27 👍🏼
  3. That’s the way I was thinking. Neat petrol rather than aspen.
  4. Yeah it’s geared up for first thinnings, unbeatable for the price and performance.
  5. It is a shame the machine, saw and pint weren’t all matched! Wouldn’t have mattered overly then! The stuff on the panels is nearly off, it’s the stuff on the lower section that’s proving tricky to move. I think it’s because it’s pooled and gathered there mainly so it’s a bit thick (like the owner of the Logbullet)
  6. Title sums it up really! So I had a comedic episode towards back end of last year, involving a punctured Stihl marker paint can in the roof box of my Logbullet. Unfortunately it got rattled about a bit too much and sprung a leak. Obviously being pressured the can promptly spewed its contents all over the machine and my chainsaw. I’ve got most off the saw, but machine is proving a little trickier. Been having fun removing it, by fun I mean frustration. Used a splash of Aspen on a rag which moved a lot but it’s hellish slow going. I need to get the marker paint off but not the paint on the panels! Any top tips for making it vanish quickly? Or am I just going to have to accept it’s gonna take a while and a good wedge of elbow grease. Wouldn’t have been quite so bad if the orange colours matched! 😆
  7. Just had a quick scan mate, almost but not quite. I need 26x12x12 and none that size on there. But I’ll maybe drop them an email and ask, cheers for the tip.
  8. Actual live shot from when it was getting worked on.
  9. Cheers fella. Unfortunately I think that’ll still be a bit too big. I’ll keep searching.
  10. I looked into some chains for the Logbullet, quoted £400 per pair plus vat 😳💵👎🏼 Absolutely crackers money.
  11. Aye it is that mate. Fingers crossed something turns up.
  12. On a side note, does anyone know of an alpine tractor and small winch operator in or near Otley? Got a job I’m involved in where it could be handy. Very steep banking that the Logbullet won’t get up, so was proposing felling everything down the hill, then dressing out and leaving in pole length. Wee tractor and winch would be ideal for the site. I only have 600kg pull on the LB so not near enough.
  13. Nifty little set up Matty 👍🏻
  14. Richmond getting battered this evening. Wind and rain are savage.
  15. Ps. Congratulations Steve 👍🏻🕺🏻💃🏼💍🍾
  16. I got a bottle of Kraken rum, and my mum surprised be my making me a handmade woolly jumper. It’s mint!
  17. Nah, that’s Forst you’re thinking of 😂
  18. I’ve got two on the boom at present. They are Bullboy brand I think, pretty good. I have the same on the cab currently, which I plan on putting on the back of the cage on the rear of the cab to give directional light out either side.
  19. These are potentials at the moment. Mixture of flood and beam. https://bearmach.com/led-2-row-light-bar-22-x-3-x-3-inches-curved-universal-applications-ba-7223
  20. Nearly all my driving is on roads with the occasional foray off road. With that in mind I chose auto as it is just so much simpler than manual. I remember being a yoof and cursing all those old buggers who drove autos. Now I understand why they did! As mentioned above most have a semi manual option also, I found this very useful when fishtailing down the A66 once! My family/non work car is a manual and I recently took it on a two week holiday to Cornwall and Devon. Let’s just say I missed my auto box massively!
  21. I had a quick search and found an older thread from about 5 years ago so thought I’d start a new one. I need to upgrade the lighting on my Logbullet. It currently has two compact led lights on the cab, front and rear. I was thinking of getting a light bar for front and rear and then reusing the existing ones on the rear as additional lighting there. Been on conversations with a few folk, looking for recommendations from the wider collective now. It appears you can spend very little or very much (like everything!) so I’m aiming to be entirely middle of the road with expense. Maybe £150 for two perhaps? currently got my eyes on the LAP light bars and some others too. Size wise about 22 inch would be ideal. Any pointers from those who are more illuminated on the subject? (Pun intended)
  22. Auto all the way 👍🏼
  23. Plus the have some of the biggest rear vents I’ve ever seen on chainsaw kecks.
  24. Second vote for Solidur. I use the infinity trousers, very comfortable and hard wearing. Great price too, only downside is you can only get them in red (not a problem for me I must add)
