We keep our books bang up to date every week. Allocate time for it. Then it's up to our accountant to go through them and do what he is trained to do. I wouldn't ask his to come and do some crown reduction. If you can get a tax accountant that is good for £250 then you've done better than us! Snap his hand off as that's a great price. I bought my website Tree LC from a company called Wowfish Design I had tried to make one myself before that and it kind of worked but was just really there for show. Didn't really get any work from it. After they designed a new site for me, the work started to come. Recently they have done marketing and search engine stuff and it has made a massive difference. Prices wise, it was a few years ago so I wouldn't really want to quote the price but they are really good at putting things together for you bit by bit and kind of take care of everything without any 'web jargon !' I guess in the end, you get what you pay for. The important thing is that it looks professional and is seen if people are looking for you that way, one good job will pay for your site. When you are really working hard in winter, I just don't think you can keep dry no matter what. The biggest difference is between having cold water seeping through your jacket even in fine mist spray and being drenched by sweat, it is so difficult to stop that. Of course a breathable under garment is part of the way to go as it absobs your sweat and gives you a chance to be a bit dryer. As we all know, it is a real battle and a right pain. But saying that, if the jacket is not fit for purpose and lets water in no matter what then insist on a refund and try something else. They each have first aid at work training and qualifications for this and some have futher training which goes beyond first aid at work and may be indespensible in a real emergency. That is indeed the correct thing to do if the tree is so dangerous that it may cause harm. Even if you have called a tree surgeon and he cannot get there for a day or so. The fire service will not make the tree itself safe as they are not trained to do that but they will make the area safe for the general public and therefore the responsibility lies with their actions for public safety.
