  1. But not lunch!!
  2. You should have a read of this mate👍 https://www.gov.uk/expenses-if-youre-self-employed
  3. I don't think that would fly with the tax man. You can't wine and dine potential clients and claim it as expenses so I don't think that's allowed either.
  4. Why are you claiming for lunch expenses?
  5. Ste a question about this thing if you don't mind. do you have to have it plugged in at all times? Or is that bad translation? Thanks
  6. You would think it's got to be a wind up? Unless the bank really has lost the plot!
  7. No way!!
  8. What was the topic..........😁 Fair enough. I think my point is that there is government money going everywhere in subsidies and who is to say which area is worthy? Farmers, fishermen, land owners, military, poor people lazy basterds the list goes on and on!!
  9. giving billions for people to sit in their arse is fine is it?
  10. If big business did not make big money it would not be there at all. Then we would have to pay out more. You have invested in stuff for your work and want (I assume) a return on that investment. It's the same for these big companies just on a much larger scale.
  11. The Lorry is the wrong colour:)
  12. Have you done anything else to it? Looks bloody dangerous like that to me!!
  13. But I'm guessing your mrs doesn't spend 3 weeks at a time riding bikes up mountains in the middle of summer? On the asthma thing I wonder if Laura trott had this type of injection? I do think it's a bit dodgy though😀
  14. Like that how much is it? Or is it not for sale? Edit!! Helps if I read post properly!!
  15. Do you sell on Amazon marketplace? I'm very lazy when it comes to buying things. I don't do PayPal since getting my account hacked a couple of years back. I would buy a couple to try if you did!
  16. Fresh growth is perfect for weed killer. It works best in active growth
  17. Have you though about an Etesia? A lot of money I know but bloody good machines
  18. And how big an area?
  19. Another way of looking at it is for your mate.(if he can be bothered) is to try and get this to court. It would teach his tosser of a boss a lesson
  20. Yes I think it does mean that. Which also means the contract is fairly worthless I would imagine
  21. Tell him to sign it it won't stand up in court anyway. The right to earn a living or something.
  22. I got that machine earlier this year. It's ok if you have time and patience!! And the hedge cutter is useless if using the extension tube. I bought it for the pole pruner and that works well enough for me. 3-4 uses a year I would think. Not used and of the strimmer bits. Overall for the reason I bought it (pole pruner) it's fine
  23. I wonder if they could change the rules. Maybe that you can only get warranty repairs done where you bought it from?
  24. Your welcome I only know because I needed one a few weeks back for a strimmer. Went to dealer and he had a box under the counter and he told me that the same one goes on most Stihl stuff
