  1. I had some ryobi stuff when I first started and had the same problems as you! Ok for diy but wouldn’t risk for work now I like decent tools yes they cost more but they work when you press the button!!
  2. Which cheap batteries do you buy for the lxt stuff? I bought a 5amph one off amazon and it lasted less per charge than a proper 3aph? I’d like a couple more if you have a decent generic one you could link for me please?
  3. Ouch. Lucky he’s not dead I suppose. Glad I don’t use a saw very often and I’m very careful when I do.
  4. Honda rebadged it but are stopping selling it. Don’t really know why. They didn’t have all the different tools either I don’t think
  5. Yes turn revs down. They will cut on Rickover though not well. Half revs should cut nicely as long as grass isn’t too long. Might sound obvious but check engine is bolted down properly. Also check all bolts for tightness as they do shake themselves quite a bit if used too fast revs
  6. Ive got one. Vibrations on handlebar not normal It’s really meant to be pulling you along on a seat which slows it down some. So walking behind is too fast. You can slow the revs down it will go slower and spin slower but that’s ok. Lovely cut once you get them setup right
  7. I really don’t get this we didn’t vote for our PM thing! We don’t vote for a PM rather your local MP. TM only got 37718 votes if you want to look at it like that.
  8. Crap here again! 2 days without rain in about 4 months I think and they were both last week! Everything wet through can’t get anything done. But next week supposed to be dry and about 18 degrees with some sunshine. Not really sure if I believe it!
  9. https://www.ebay.co.uk/p/Florabest-FSG-85-B1-Chainsaw-Sharpener/1623265170 Quite a few on eBay. Though it won’t be that long until Lidl have them again. Normally twice a year I think.
  10. I thought you had been to 3 universities in the uk? I would have thought it was fairly obvious what I was alluding to. What’s the bbc?
  11. That’s a much better way of folding them up. When the handles fold in the middle is when they cause problems. I personally wouldn’t fold any mower in half. But then its my job and don’t want to stress any parts unnecessarily.
  12. Folding mowers is a bad idea even if they say that it’s ok. All that happens is broken cables and fittings. Do you want a roller or a 4 wheel mower. Weibang are good as hk said. Depends on how much you are going to use it to decide what to buy
  13. Could be true in a lot of cases though some are shouted down as racists because they are...............
  14. Don’t know about Scotland but the grass is about a month behind where it normally is here in lincoln, that’s a fact it’s nowt to do with farmers!
  15. That’s got to be traceable hasn’t it? Can’t be that many signs like that about!
  16. Still saying the same thing in a different way I see! Well done! I wonder what Africa would have been like now if “the Europeans” had never bothered to go there at all? Why is our way of life so much better? Now Africa has had some western influence and ended up with big cities they are not managing it well in the most part. But living off the land in a beautiful part of the world wouldn’t be that bad I don’t think.
  17. Maybe but judging groups of people falls down many times. Because you could say “white British people” are lovely then walk through the wrong part of the local housing estate.......or bump into someone like you who outwardly looks normal in the group sense yet............. has some horrible views (with some sense in there to be fair on some things)... You should not be judging people on race... is that not textbook racism? And yes it can easily work in lots of directions before you say it!
  18. This was working near me last week chipping up about 1.5 miles of big hawthorn hedge to make way for new bypass. Made an impressive sight and all gone into a trailer in about 3 hours. It had been laid on floor the day before
  19. Fair enough point I was trying to make was if you had just asked the size they may have said what it was on here for you to buy from wherever. Fuel line is fuel line as long as it’s not utterly cheap rubbish!
  20. Global might have said its “x” mm pipe you need had you not said they would rip you off!!
  21. Maybe they would if the far right wasn’t so far right. People (as in enough to win or even be taken too seriously) don’t like voting for the extreme anything IMO. They maybe would if it was toned down a bit.
  22. That makes more sense! It looked like it was lying down on a bench of some kind, now you say it I can see it’s stood up next to a door.
  23. Looks nice though no idea what it is!?
  24. Watch /read other news than the bbc!! As for green belt it’s a tiny amount of land around some though not many larger cities. The immigration doesn’t help with any of the problems you mentioned we all know that, but it’s not the only problem we have. Stopping immigration won’t magically fix the problems.
  25. Is there really such a thing as a pedestrian mower ticket!? Edit had to look it up[emoji16] Have a look here. There is one in wales but I don’t know wales geography so no idea where abouts it is in the country!! (Bit thick I admit) https://www.lantra.co.uk/provider-search/3291
