I don't burn it specifically but working in a softwood sawmill I only burn softwood and haven't noticed any major difference between most of them except larch which seems to produce a notably better heat to volume rate! All burnt on a multi fuel stove with back boiler!

Our last couple have been from a company called z laser both have been ok! We found the visibility on a green one much better but the down side is a shorter service life! Not sure I can help much on brackets as ours is a fixed vertical saw with moving carriage I'm presuming yours is a horizontal with a moving saw unit

Whilst I can appreciate that all rescues have some inherent risk I'm curious as to what percentage of rescues are genuinely in dangerous conditions and how many are rescuing fools that are improperly prepared and would of been fine if they were?

I wouldn't get too caught up on weight some people naturally carry more muscle than others as long as your generally healthy you should be fine!

Bmi is mostly irrelevant as it doesn't distinguish between fat and muscle at my fittest I was obese according to the BMI scale!

Hi don't suppose anyone knows where I would get a 9 or 10 inch tension gauge for benching wide bandsaws do they? Google just seems to show me something that measures the tension on the blade! Thanks
