The thing that is stiffening the snp support, is the attitude of the the good the bad and the ugly, (labour, conservative, lib dem,) After the independence result we were told by them we were an equal partner our contribution would be valued and respected, Well until there is the the merest hint that we may have some influence on the future direction of the UK, Thanks for that attitude it will only harden the resolve of us uppity jocks, Vote for either of the three main parties, ? I have not used it myself but others who have say that for example tornado stock fence isn't compatible.

I would beware of clipex fine for a temporary fence 3-5 years, But would not make permanent fence , you cannot use any mesh only their own mesh.

I'm sorry for stating facts but perhaps the sheep were removed because someone held grudge against someone, Mr Gregor snr and his company are perceived rightly in many cases as being arrogant greedy and above the law, they have upset many customers in the area, and let me tell you they broke the law regarding animal welfare and documentation on an industrial scale. Auction companies as a whole are corrupt to the core, and are in need of investigation and regulation, back handers were rife and still are about the places

They indeed do at certain sales though I can assure you they would not make that sum through Mr gregors establishment how many sales have you attended in 20 years I'm willing to bet it's not as much as me. The welfare of the sheep is paramount, and to have moved them in that condition and at that time should be punished and its illegal. However Mr gregor snr didn't seem to mind when sheep in the same condition arrived at his Mart their was no mention of illegal movement then only of getting the commission on selling them. Having worked in 6 different auction marts I can tell you that animal welfare comes after the selling commission.

I believe that the figure of 80k has been mentioned as the value, how ironic that the the owner of the sheep's father is general manager of an auction market, and know for a fact after working in auction marts for 20 years, and in the SAME Mart that Mr gregor snr is in charge of that I never saw any of those breed of sheep make 2500 each . What that valuation is and I work for beltex breeders who dispute that valuation but then again auctioneers are the most crooked profession I know.

Experience is the .most important factor, too many people have a knocker and wire stretcher and declare themselves as fencers, I spent 5 years working with a contractor, I was brought upon a farm, and have worked at auctions marts for over 20 years, so I'm aware of livestock behaviour, Do you know the places livestock are inclined to gather,? Do you know which breeds are more liable to be wild, Do you know the best position for gates, This may seem trivial or pedantic but it is part of the job, Also be aware your reputation good or bad will travel farmers gather together at marts and agri suppliers. Not trying to piss on your chips but these are important factors, I've been trading on my own for 5 years, and am still learning and building my customer base.

yes there are sdrp payment s in Scotland, though no grants for any hedges in Aberdeenshire, just woodlands and water courses. -

I really think that those in the south who are on about ukip are going to be shocked at the magnitude of the snp gains swings of over 20% in many seats is almost unheard of in British politics, , snp going from 3rd to comfortable leads in some seats, It is time for the people of Scotland who's voice was silenced last autumn, for those who weren't duped and conned by the three amigos to have our say, There will be bloody noses dished out, It is going to be fantastic!

For all of you who were celebrating the victory in the independence referendum. There is an d say " be careful what you wish for" The latest polls in northern Britain and indeed since last september suggest an obliteration for the 3 mainstream parties and a 20-30 seat gain for the snp, Which may well leave the 3rd biggest party in Britain as the king makers, . So prepare for Alex salmond to bet deputy pm.
