  1. Wow, tough break, see it as a door opening.
  2. Word. (As the kids say)
  3. Ha ha, this is a brilliant World Cup, and all the "rugby is mans game" moaners who go on about overpaid prima donnas etc are so boring.
  4. Due to using thinner engine oil?
  5. Your saws will suffer no ill effects from using clean engine oil as chain lubricant. You say your saws have suffered, how?
  6. Chain oil flings off the bar as well.
  7. Have you been running your own business for long?
  8. Using clean engine oil is fine. My old boss did it for decades.
  9. No probs with Saturn, had some bits from northern arb, never had an issue. Hope they have it sorted.
  10. Bloke I know had a pub fight with his daughters waster boyfriend. Couple of hours later the boyfriend and his family turned up at his house looking for retribution, he took out and started up his 020t and conducted the conversation behind the revving saw. Coppers turned up after wards by which time he had removed the bar and chain. No charges pressed.
  11. Good advice. Follow it.
  12. Too right, I bet the little weasel uses the furore to engineer a move to Spain. Great player, difficult to like.
  13. My favourite book is Gone With The Wind by Margaret Mitchell.
  14. For me the trouble with that signage is it's too boring. Just words no pictures. Doesn't catch the eye. It's the picture or drawing that pulls the eye then read the writing. .plus there's no name so it's difficult to know who you are.
  15. Well put. Lot of folks say "they need" when they mean "they want"
  16. Well done. You'll need your weetabix to handball that lot out mind!
  17. IMO in a rural setting like that reduced trees are incongruous and plain daft. Client wants it out, no TPO, end of story. End of tree.
  18. So does mine, always has, just burning extra diesel isn't it?
  19. I'm not saying buy a first aid kit from a chemist, buy the stuff separately and make up your own kit. Whatever happens if you've any presence of mind get down ASAP
  20. Cannot understand why you would fret about having a kit on your belt. First thing is get down, once there use a kit made up yourself from a chemist. Much cheaper and geared to tree surgery ie more bandages.
  21. So why stack it? You're just picking it up twice, sounds like the client is trying to save money,it's just as easy to ram it in a chipper, anyway all that aside 600quid
  22. What does stack mean?
  23. Try not to blunt saws through lazy cutting. It really matters and we know who did it.
  24. Good luck! I enjoy your work pics. Permanent move or just a look see?
  25. Both good saws, joe newton is bang on, I have both and although the husky is flavour of the month the later 201s are almost as quick. Forget the silky though.
