ISIS have declared war on France and the West in general. It's about time the "moderate Muslims" condemned ISIS a little bit more. tbh, if they don't start to condemn ISIS (and tell the authorities about the terrorists in their community) they will have to be considered as part of the enemy.

I think a lot of people here have noticed how wood that is completely soaked with water seems to dry faster than wood that is partially dry. It could be an interesting experiment to see how quickly wood dries after two weeks in a pond? It is possible that when wood is saturated the sticky stuff in wood is washed out and it's easier to dry. -

How about doing some voluntary work to make your CV shine out? I volunteer with the NTS and remove rhododendron etc. It's not exactly what you're after, but it could be a foot in the door for consultancy.

I remember when I was a kid we had some really big trees removed from the garden. My dad got the tree surgeon to cut a seat in one of the stumps it was a talking point

I went to Cambodia for a holiday and went to a shooting range. I fired an AK47, M16 and an M60. There is another range where you can fire an RPG at a cow.... My mate went to East europe for a holiday and fired similar guns. I believe there was also a draganov sniper rifle there.

I've seen the numerous threads as well discussing the best way to advertise logs. However, you can't sell by weight as wet logs are heavier than dry and you can't sell by volume as logs "settle" if you give the bag a shake. As a log consumer I'm happy buying logs by the "dumpy bag". It's a volume that I can picture in my mind's eye. I'm really not convinced that it's worth the council spending a great deal of time on an issue like this... if people don't think goods are worth the money they shouldn't go back...

I sit beside this guy at work and he makes this grunting sound as if he is taking a d*mp. It really does my nut in Sometimes he also talks and talks, he can take half an hour to tell me something that could be done in 2 minutes. Anyone else ever suffer annoying workmates?

My dad had a "T" reg one since new until about two years ago. He then got another one. Nice enough to drive and good fuel economy.

I understand non EU migrants cost £118 billion over 17 years. That's about £7 billion a year. The present benefit cuts are forecast to save £4.5 billion a year. I don't mind paying tax to support fellow Brits, but I don't want to pay tax for foreigners....

Yeah, just ban all benefits. That really would be a great society to live in We might as well just get rid of the NHS as well.

Are you proud to lack the ability to reason? I pointed out that non EU migration has cost the country a significant amount, you respond with "racist"... it's hardly a reasoned argument.... What would happen to the UK if we had 10 million African migrants....

“Would rather have all these immigrants in the country regardless of cost”? Really? How many immigrants would you allow into the UK? Maybe a billion Africans? Can you not see that the present benefit cuts are just the start if we continue to allow millions of people in that cannot contribute? Do you think the Government has a magic money tree that allows them to pay for the NHS etc? When someone like you calls me a “small minded racist” I take that as a compliment, so thanks very much.

Ehhhhmmmm, it quite clearly doesn't say that.... People here are complaining about the government saving £4 billion a year on benefits.... While non EU migrants cost far more more.... Would it not be an idea to reduce non EU migration?

How many unemployed do we have in the UK? The cold hard evidence says that migrants take more from the taxpayer than they contribute..... 50% of Muslim men in the UK are unemployed.....
