  1. No Stubby the deco valve has completely gone, this aids hot re starting, plus there is always some leakage at the Valve
  2. It just did not work well the 357, hose leaking or cracking, one way vale not working, valve carboning up
  3. Don’t shoot me, but the auto deco valve worked well on the 335/338xpt

    FARMBOSS!!

If it was out for scrap it probably is.
  5. The idle screw is conical on the tip, so as you screw it in or out it acts on the the throttle shaft quadrant, so theoretically if you screw it out fully the throttle flap will be completely shut and the engine will stop, if it does not then either the throttle shaft or throttle flap is jammed for some reason, so turn it manually and see if the revs die, if not you may have an air leak.
  6. The idle screw should be turned anti clockwise to reduce the rpm.
  7. Read my post on the correct ignition units and flywheels for these models
  8. This will not work.
  9. You can remove the plastic anti tamper sleeves, however the slot in the screw is only 2mm, this makes it very difficult with the engine running to adjust the screws, the idea was they pulled partly off so as a 2mm screw driver went through the middle onto the screw underneath, be careful not to bend the screws when you pull them off, there was a special tool to do it, it was similar to a small self tapping screw on a t bar, it screwed in hit the end of the screw underneath which drew the sleeve off.
  10. As Stubby says it is auto tune so no need for dealers to mess with, I would not recommend chopping and changing between pump and alkylate fuel, auto tune will set itself for whatever you pup in it, if you keep changing it will always be re tuning itself , if you can afford it run on Husqvarna power 2 fuel, if not then pump fuel with Husqvarna XP oil.
  11. No deco valve on the MK11
  12. My initial response would be low compression, however I would expect it to get worse when hot, so maybe it’s as simple as the choke is not closing completely, whit the filters off and check through the back of the that the flap is completely closed with the choke actuated.
  13. Yes, I just thought it may had been a power surge , or been dropped causing the fuse to blow, how wrong I was.
  14. Regardless of the manufacture date, the warranty runs for 12 months from the date of sale, there is also some good will if it only a few months beyond that, a well written letter may work wonders.
  15. Don’t laugh, but I did that, switched the bloody thing on, it went bang, knocked the lights out, and sat smouldering on the bench, get it back to a dealer.
  16. I really do not understand how it can work backwards, I do not want to seem unkind, but this is an important safety component, and fair play you have had a go at repairing it, but now is the time to have it looked at properly, or replace it.
  17. That is the PNC no. not the ser no., you can find the ser no. on the bottom of the product, it will start with the year and the week within that year.
  18. There is an internal non replaceable fuse in these things, if it is only 14 months old take it back to where you purchased it from, it should last a lot longer than than, let us know how you get on.

    Husqvarna engine

I just thought it was a good animation to show a two stroke working, unfortunately the Blair tube did not really catch on, but we dis sell a good number of this blower, the 356BTS.

    Husqvarna engine

Not sure if this will open, however it is a Blair tube exhaust engine to reduce emissions Husqvarna had on a back pack blower. Engine.AVI
  21. You are quite correct sir.

    Husqvarna 435

Just thought i would post something regarding confusion around ignition units and flywheels. Husqvarna 435.docx
  24. I won’t kid you, they are not easy, all the components have to be held together, then slid down into the cover, there are two roll pins that hold it together in the cover and create a pivot for the hand guard, there used to be a special tool to aid guiding the roll pins in, this style brake was also fitted to the Partner machines, the 630 was based around the Husqvarna 162, the later machine had a plastic hand guard and knee link design.
