  3. I don't see where anyone has mentioned wAter or antifreeze?? The engine compartment can get to hot due to the fan not drawing enough cool air through the the rad, the water then heats up and trips the switch. Sent from Hodge's eye phone using the new fancy Arbtalk Mobile App:)
  4. Yes mine has, it's a 2008 150 VTR. I had it cut out on me once when chipping dusty connys and the rad got blocked. S&S£@t myself, but its meant to do it. Sent from Hodge's eye phone using the new fancy Arbtalk Mobile App:)

    Compressor

I have a compressor, it's only a hobby type, it works but does not switch off when full of air, it just blows the safety relase valve. I have got a new one so I don't need it now. I don't want to sell it as it don't work properly. If anyone is near Kendal or is passing and wants it the just PM me and its yours, 1st come, 1st served. Sent from outer space
  12. I reckon, try it and find out, I can't promise that's what's wrong but it was on mine mate. Or just go and buy a Greenmech or a Jensen🙈 Sent from outer space
  13. Sound, let us know how you get on mate, it will be interesting to know. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  14. Agreed Mr B😘 Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  15. The green forward button on the control box, when you start the machine you have to press it to get the rollers turning, well you do on mine, 2008 150 VTR. If the switch is knackered then they won't start. You can get the switch of orange plant, next day delivery.you can test it by taking switch out and disconnecting the switch and putting a paper clip into the socket so it makes the circuit and the rollers should turn. 16. £650!!, not being funny but have you any experience pricing work? I ask this because in 12 years I have only used a cherry picker twice and it didn't need to be hired for 3 days to do a much bigger hedge than that. Like I said £ 700 bats and the jobs done. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  17. Sounds like the switch, mine used to do it so I changed the switch and it was sound. No doubt someone will say its coz Timberwolfs are crap and you should of got a greenmech😛 Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  18. I would stick 3 lads on it climber, 2 groundies, chipper, platform ladders and long hegies. It's the height of a telegraph pole by the looks of the pic, then take off 10 ft and get it done by 3ish worst case. Take chip away, 8 cube maybe, so 2 loads in landy. THIS IS A GUESS FROM THE PICS PROVIDED. All left tidy, job done. If I didn't get it I would not loose sleep over it as I I take or leave connys. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  19. £700 Sent from Hodge's eye phone using the new fancy Arbtalk Mobile App:)
  20. I've used a Jensen but wouldn't want to own one. I'm happy with my wolf and the service I get from orange plant. Why change? Sent from Hodge's eye phone using the new fancy Arbtalk Mobile App:)
  21. I'm glad the springs pull off with one hand as when you change the blades it makes a big difference doing them with the rollers wedged open. Also it make in jamming if a conny fork gets wedged. The springs aid grip but also allow the rotor to move up and down if they were to taught then it wouldn't move up and down as well causing jams. I love Timberwolf, I ain't tried green mech or bandit, or these others, they will all have there good and bad points, that's life. I own my chipper, bought and paid for and it does what I want. 22. Wife beater and snow, perfect match. Sent from Hodge's eye phone using the new fancy Arbtalk Mobile App:)
  23. I really think it could be the ultimate small scale Arb truck, get a nice chip body on and away you go. I will be playing the lotto again this week. Sent from Hodge's eye phone using the new fancy Arbtalk Mobile App:)
  24. That's what I do mate, I use a dentists tooth pick to clean mine out. Sent from Hodge's eye phone using the new fancy Arbtalk Mobile App:)
  25. I would buy it tomorrow but its the price that's the problem. Lovely vehicle but just out of my price range:( Sent from Hodge's eye phone using the new fancy Arbtalk Mobile App:)
