  1. I had a 3120 and it was ok but I prefer my 395 XP on 36" bar as its easier to move around and use, the 3120 was a big num thing. Sent from Outerspace.
  2. That's what I thought, mine has a lever to drop the handlebar, that looks as though it is adjustable. Sent from Outerspace.
  3. Why are you having to hold it like that? Looks very uncomfortable. Sent from Outerspace.
  4. I stick 2 days on it. I am pretty good now at judging a job and pricing accordingly, I know exactly how much I need toile each day and know my costings down to a t. If I go and look at a job and its a I'm getting a load of quotes and I will choose the cheapest then I put my price in and leave, some I get some I don't, but most of my work is where I have been recommended so I can have a chat and talk them through what needs doing etc and the give them a price reflecting my teams skill and quality of work. Most time it works. Some times I get the folder out of the van with insurance and certs in but most of the time its about just talking to the customer. If there is a job I want and I have to be a bit canny with the price then so be it. It all about knowing your business and knowing how to deal with people. Sent from Outerspace.
  5. It's all right saying £200 per man day but what happens when there is someone who will do it loads cheaper, they get the work and I loose out, then after a bit I have no work and I'm out?? In reality you just gotta get what you can for a job and not be greedy. Sent from Outerspace.
  6. I started out using abbey national business banking when I started and after 12 months I changed to a proper bank as abbey were shockingly poor. I started with Barclays as I knew my small business advisor and he set me up an account, I got an over draught and they changed all my standing orders over for me, there were a few teething problems at first but other than that they have been ok. Yes I get charged for the over draught, yes I have to pay to withdraw and deposit but they are a business out to make money as are we the user. I found free banking have poor service so I moved. I don't see the point of moaning about paying for a service if the service you get is acceptable. My advice would be to look at all the banks have to offer and pick one that you can put up with as I don't honk there is a bank out there that will give, give, give and not take something in return.
