  4. Its all a bit to wet round here. My last cut was Christmas eve on a nice sandy dryish lawn.

  6. Mine is to not take on anymore hourly rate jobs - I have to many customers already and want do a price per job for this year + push my carpet cleaning side more, as there is more money in it. Good Luck to everyone in 2015

  8. I just do a simple what i want to earn for me and my brothers wages for a day. Then double it for everything else - so far NO jobs haha
  9. Yep - so true unfortunately, Something always seems to go wrong as well when doing cheap jobs for family/friends I have found.

  11. I have bought a LDV tipper haha - need a mega quick method that is CHEAP to make a chip box. Not got a clue about how to go about it, other than I think 12mm ply is the way to go. :001_smile::001_smile: Gis a idea will you

  14. totally agree VAT registered means nought - I know a lot of crooks who are registered I was registered for over 25 years - started at 8% now its 20% greedy government yet again screwing us, all you are is a unpaid tax collector. It was no big deal for me with my commercial work, but when it hit 20% it killed my domestic business.
  15. There is a TW150 ending tonight on ebay. I bought a dosko machine a few months back, so far its been great, drinks fuel mind you as its a petrol. Thought about bidding on the TW on ebay and then sell my dosko - but just bought a tipper so NO money left now.

  19. At my age I only do small trees and get nice money doing them - leave the big stressy trees to others I haven't got the man power anyway. Sick of let down wankers not turning up on jobs, those 6.00am text messages pee me off big time, that's if they even bother to contact me. I give the big stuff to another firm and take a little commission on them.
