  4. Had this saw for a few years. Not been used for the last few months as its a bit of a bugger. Starts ok, then smokes like crap from the exhaust and cuts out. I open the petrol cap to see if the fuel is spent and there seems to be a lot of compression in the fuel tank as its spits it out and the petrol is bubbling away. Now I have to leave it to go cold and start it all over again. Any idea what is is and what i need to do to get it to run properly please. Cheers Paul
  5. Looking at used for about a grand or I buy myself a new birding lens for my camera instead Just fancy one to add to my wood chipper & man hire set up I have started. So do not want to spend mega bucks, as it just might end up in the garage getting dusty

  11. Does anyone know of a free site to put all my chip - allotments don't seem want anymore Its a mixed lot normally,tree wood + laurel, conifers etc anything I can chip I suppose. Near Sutton Coldfield, Lichfield, Tamworth or surrounding areas. Thanks.

  13. Mine is blocked bleedin solid - two bent screw drivers so far. Looks like I will have to remove the cartridge. So far not that impressed with the machine Need one of these mini lever bars I reckon.

  16. Thanks for the ideas - will have a look at getting something done over the weekend. Think I need to reinforce my 12mm ply roof if I am having ladders on it It does not look sturdy enough at the mo haha
  17. i have just done my LDV tipper with a little chip box going from the back of the cab about 4 foot. see photo. I would like to be able to carry my ladders flat on the roof of this van. How do you fix them as the light thingy will be a pain. Are there ladder racks out there for tippers - did a search and looked on ebay but no joy. Paul

    Its Jane Grigson's 'English food' She has a daughter called Sophie Grigson who did have a series of cookery shows on tv - before you know who hit the TV and every one became a celebrity bleedin chef

    Jane Grigsons book has a brill recipe also a cracking recipe for pickled beef. Worth buying as its a pretty cheap paperback if you can source one that is. Saltpeter added gives it the pink look by the way
