  1. I think at that price I'd just cut out a bit of steel plate, bend to suit the hole and paint a fire on the outside with some high temp paint.😄
  2. I see that in this link Stoves Direct are offering glass replacement accidental damage insurance, £14.99 for 2 years cover, I suppose that with it costing so much it may be worth it. https://www.directstoves.com/morso-4412-multi-fuel-stove.html?gclid=CjwKCAjw_tWRBhAwEiwALxFPoTF0chimFTo3J6i691F7I1SwEl8J9VdNNZHd1f8AoNkbWXT5v2aA7xoClqYQAvD_BwE
  3. There was a recent thread on this subject where the use of PEG as @Woodworks suggested {thanks} didn't come up, a quick google search brings up quite a lot.. I'll be trying it for sure👍 Found this pdf with instructions on how to use. https://owic.oregonstate.edu/sites/default/files/pubs/peg.pdf
  4. So many good female guitarists around now👍
  5. Although I don't welcome digital anything as to me it's anti nature, but the green agenda is just a multi trillion dollar business opportunity that's been programmed into the minds of a whole generation of Pliable saps... and probably can't be stopped. if you consider volcanic activity and wildfires to be normal, then we haven't seen the real result of that for quite some time.. let alone a comet strike which it would seem the last one was 12,800 ish years ago [ Younger Dryas event ], for which evidence is strong and most likely not wrong. Pyrolysis for instance, is the recycling of plastic back into any kind of fuel you like, after all it's a totally recyclable Hydrocarbon product and the process is simple and even self powered using it's own fumes as the heat source. But ' recycling ' to the wankers that run this country would seem to be up until recently, putting the plastic waste in a massive ship at Liverpool docks and sending it to China, who would then sell it on to Taiwan who would then pass it on for cash to the Indonesians, who then throw it in the sea, FFS. The people that come up with policies like this are beyond stupid with tiny intellects... so you have to ask how on earth do they manage to get into a position that has any influence ? My answer to this is that we live in totally controlled dumb cluck society that's brainwashed by them that are using the stupidity of average person to line their pockets, done deal ! Since China no longer want's our waste, I wonder what's happening to it now, does anyone know ?
  6. 😁 Just think how fast he'll be when he gets rid of the drag of his cock and balls, is it not just bonkers ? Maybe I should shut up before I get cancelled on Arbtalk 🙄
  7. Is that the lyrics to a song you're writing😁
  8. A friend of mine used to go to the Czech Grand Prix every year pre MacDonalds over there, and his biggest impression of the place was that the women were mostly slim and beautiful.. hardly any fatties😄 probly changed now.
  9. Aye, just last week I left comment on a youtube video about the American trans swimmer Lia Thomas.. couldn't resist it having had a few drams.. just spoke mind mind about how ridiculous it is. The next day without any warning or explanation my ability to comment was removed, so a couple of days later I went into my account and removed the comment and the next morning I was reinstated, the future is bleak 👎
  10. Not tree related, but a mate of mine bought a house with an out building that we converted into a workshop putting in a new concrete floor in 2 sections. Before the house was bought the garden had been cheaply improved for the house sale with many tons of chips lots of which made their way into the drains and blocked them so rain had nowhere to go causing the clay ground to take up water and swell. The floor we'd laid moved and was pushed up an almost unbelievable amount which in a way was lucky as it flagged up the issue and we got the drains cleared with a great deal of difficulty and sorted the problem without any other noticeable damage, but it's the clearest case of heave that I've seen.
  11. Hendrix nearly always tuned a semitone down and on the electric ladyland version to play it in the same key on a normally tuned guitar it's C A# g#, if down a step it's C# B A I see from looking that it gets played and taught in various keys. Interestingly enough ' ultimate guitar ' has it in the chords search Bm A G and in standard tuning Their bass tab is tuned down a half step so in C#m so up a full note on the neck, and the tab for the 3 guitar parts are in the same key. Obviously it can be played in any key that suits your voice but if you're trying to learn JImi's style or playing with a lead guitarist who wants to emulate Hendrix then it won't work playing it in the wrong part of the neck. My take on the half step down is that it allows the use of heavier strings and or much more flexibility in bending, I can't remember Jimi's string gauges but I know that SRV used a right mixture with some quite heavy 5th and 6th mixed with more bendable 123 and 4 and also tuned down. I remember from before that one of the guitars we have is the same model, Yamaha apx.. I really like mine, I can hammer the shit out of it without making too much noise in the house and when it's plugged in it ceases to be an acoustic and I really like the neck. Obviously I've no idea what strings you use, but I can highly recommend Ernie Ball Earthwood ph- bronze 10-52 with a plain 17 G .. Light top, Heavy bottom, very common😁
  12. A quick listen to the electric ladyland version it sounds like a downwards progression on the bass, on a my normally tuned guitar would seem to be F Eb C but an octave lower, so if you were a half step down the notes would be F sharp E C sharp, the rhythm chord at that point on this version is indistinguishable to me, but I think it's the bass.
  13. Yep I'm listening to it just now and there's clearly a rhythm guitar playing chords, I guess I'm just used to hearing him playing as a trio... probably also Jimi. Which part of the song and which guitar part is the chord you're looking for.
  14. Absolutely, I didn't mean to be negative, I thought it was a great cover thanks, it's amazing just how many different folk manage to cover the unique style of Jimi Hendrix and very curious to [me at least] how nothing like it is popular with today's listeners. And btw I very much know how good it is to be part of something and be that guy on the second guitar, cheers.
  15. Thanks Paul for a direct link to Stihl GB, Firstly, I wonder if you can confirm whether msa 200 and 220 have the same motor, I ask because I modified my 200 by fitting 220 sprocket, bar and chain a couple of years ago and I presumed that the rest was the same, anyway it changed the saw a lot with higher chain speed and 3/8" full chiz, but I guess you know this as you brought out the 220. And second, I'm interested in having the larger AP 500s battery for this saw but from your earlier post regarding charging and overheating does this mean that my AL 300 charger isn't suitable for the larger battery, and if so, will the AL 301 charger also charge and extend the life of the 300 and 300s batteries, cheers.
  16. That's a good while back, but I never saw Jimi and I've not seen Randy live and I think he's 67 now and has had a bit of time to practice, to be honest as so much time has gone by and as he's got it so close he's amazing to watch online. There's a video of Jimi's niece Tina Hendrix awarding him for being the worlds best tribute to Jimi. She is the daughter of his brother who by total coincidence, an American lassie who was my neighbour a few years back had been in his high school class in Seattle. Randy is on tour and has a few gigs in Germany coming up, tickets only $25, If he were to come here I go and see him for sure, cheers
  17. The msa 200 I bought a few years back which I then modified to the 220 spec as I didn't like the picco micro chain, it was transformed into a different tool altogether and the battery run time was about the same, but if this new 500 battery fits into the slot and extends the run time that would be great.👍
  18. Of course.. Although not sure about the need for the 2nd guy on acoustic, but I'm sure he's enjoying himself.
  19. Probly a generational thing, but apart from the intro and middle bit I don't find this to be musical. I generally like most of what you post on this thread , but I've never been able to find 'Metal' for the most part to be 'music', and I've never thought that music and whipped up aggression to be useful bedfellows. So I'll reply to the noise you posted😁 and without any apology here's Jimi's best living student, 👍 Absolutely no offence meant regarding you're selection of metal, but with you're eyes shut could you tell that this was a cover, cheers.
  20. Aye, sorry to hear, I know the feeling only too well as I've been there twice before and my current friend Lucy will be 16 in June if she makes it, all the best.
  21. A bit late but I've just read this, how much air do you need to move ? I had a spray booth about the size of the kilns you showed and I used a 12v car radiator fan which was up to that job, VW about 12" if I remember correct. I kept it in it's original mounting which was trimmed to fit in a duct and run off a variable transformer to control the speed, but it would even work off a cheap battery charger. Cheap as chips and come in all shapes and sizes from a scrappy, lasted more than 20 years, cheers.
  22. Thanks for the review, so if the 300 battery fit's in the MSA500 does that mean that the 5oo's battery will fit in the MSA220 which would be very good?
  23. Yeah, I think this speaks volumes, only a few months before they attack Ukraine.
  24. Well, in a game of global domination chess, and bearing in mind Putin's previous WEF involvement where ordinary human's life's mean nothing in their stated aims, who's to say .. As for Technocracy, I'd say everyone staring into their phones would provide evidence of the opposite, I know our parliament has a discussion document on transhumanism ffs. Anyway wtf do I know... I still think in feet and inches, thank f**K👍
  25. I think their both being played like fish by the agenda of the WEF that's a very long and patient plan which has suddenly seen an opportunity to pounce.. but I hope I'm wrong👍
