  1. if it's for, say, a gmail account you'll need something like imap.gmail.com and smtp.gmail.com but I thought most clients would try to pick those up automatically once you'd entered your email address into the config info
  2. Now you've mentioned lamps, Vapalux for me, an original M320 that is, not one of the reincarnated ones...

  4. I piled it up for about 6 months when we first moved here, never again - stinking pile of filth
  5. Not sure how much grass you have but just on the area I want to collect I'd have a mighty big compost heap even at this time of the year
  6. They're very good round here to be fair and it's not long before they're out with a wagon collecting it all up which also probably makes it less of a dilemma for anyone considering doing it. It's not great but I can sort of understand why some folk would do it, I just wish they'd do it on their lane and not mine
  7. Very true this. On a weekly basis somebody will dump their unwanted fridge, sofa or rubble on the lanes around here
  8. I accept jobs need to be done and folk need to make a living but what a completely ignorant statment to make. I don't expect people working in arb to all be Bill Oddie but to have never heard of a tree sparrow amazes me
  9. All I'd say is don't moan when customers question your arb quotes and say things like "it's only a little tree, surely it can't be that much?"
  10. In all seriousness though, what do you reckon he really thought would happen, that it would just gently lower him to the ground after he'd cut it? I'm making an assumption he didn't think it would go horribly wrong despite how foolish that might have been.
  11. I think they're good pictures. Ever thought about branching out?
  12. Thread's over five years old, things may have changed since then......
  13. Here's mine for next year so far...
  14. Not entirely sure to be fair but might have a bit of JR and/or Lakeland in him too That can happen round here a bit too if you're not careful with us being quite rural/remote. He's definitely a character and brilliant with people but couldn't be trusted with anything smaller than him that moves quickly so taking him anywhere that has cats for example is a big no no. We get a few deer round here too and unless I catch him before he's in full stride he ends up chasing them half way round Lincolnshire and I have no chance of calling him back until he's done. He has, however, put a few rabbit pies on the table as long as I get to him before he's mashed its insides...
  15. Quite, this is my boy and he definitely suffers from Terrier deafness when he's after something
  16. Much prefer BF3 or BF4 (on playstations). They're the kids consoles in reality but rather that game than CoD although I am absolutely rubbish at either :-)
  17. I was expecting a bit more than that you big girl
  18. I'm not disputing this in the slightest but surely if the professionals knew this would happen wouldn't they attempt life saving surgery by removing the limb or was it just not possible?
  19. Worth a watch if you've not seen it before [ame] [/ame]
  20. and just to cheer you up your wife's having an affair with the postman
  21. I don't do ferreting but if you go on either pigeonwatch or thehuntinglife you'd probably have a queue a mile long
  22. I'm guessing that if it hasn't gone already it'll be rotten now :-)
  23. I have a similar setup with a mate at my local bank
