  1. Fitted rayburn spring to jotul number 1 Worked sort of ok but would unscrew itself occasionally You get 2 springs on every scrap rayburn

I have an oxdale splitter which I do 20 odd cube a year on It does the job, but in my view needs some modifications The base plate is too small and needs making bigger The splitting wedge gets stuck in some of the knarly logs I have A substantial bracket on the pillar would let you push them off using the hydraulics intead of a lump hammer The wedge could be a better shape too - sometimes stuff gets stuck behind the wedge UPSUM does the job but could be better ...... I'd really like a " chunker " but cannot really justify the cost .......they look perfect for firing a woodburner running central heating ......bag up the chunks and throw whole bag on at a time .....simples

  17. Oh pennington flash when I was a kid an area of subsidence a mile long that had flooded, you could still see roof of house that had been flooded when land sank.... Pit rucks, ground that burned, local council waste tip, maggot farm , rats as big as cats , dead dogs floating in the cut..... that was my playground as a kid Wonder why I moved to rural wales asap?

I had constant problems with paypal and credit cards - there is now a class of people who complain to the payment companies about EVERYTHING they buy Barclaycard just refund them and tell you to "sort it out" Not funny when its £500+ and they refund the customer and just stick a letter in the post to you....sometimes first thing you hear is the letter from barclaycard, paypal not much better We really need a customer rating scheme so you can avoid selling to these scamsters
