  1. I find people either have a realistic budget for fencing or its about £10 a metre budget.
  2. No topper then.
  3. I've always imagined that Aspen would taste like skittles.
  4. It'll have the m-tronic computer thing
  5. Echo 360 is worth a look
  6. Why did they make the 228 heavier? I thought the whole point of that weight class was so its about as big as you can get and still tow legally.
  7. We've got a crappy eckman 45cc 'pro' saw and it was running fine with that put 3 tank fulls through it felling some conifers and doing some logs. No issues with it so would it be safe to say that the oil is okay?
  8. I meant keep as in still hold the name.
  9. If you have a website it would be a good idea to keep the one now with your old name but just redirect it to your new website with your new name (and something to explain the name change)
  10. Was given a few Makita-Dolmar 1 shot oil by a customer today but there isn't a date on them, the bottles don't look too old maybe 5/6 years so I'm pretty sure the oil quality was at least once good enough. Or does it ferment like a wine and in which case can I drink it?
  11. Well you could go for being the top ranked on the google search for your area. But any of any worth doing so isn't going to cold call you when they get your number out of a magazine or whatever. When I advertised on gumtree I used to get loads of of these idiots calling. One guy would ring every week claiming to 'manage the top page of google for my area' despite having a thick Manc accent and no such position existing.
  12. Poo in the chip next time
  13. Got two border terriers one doesn't give a toss and the over is okay in the house but out for a work she barks at each bang.
  14. A pig in a blanket over here is a cocktail sausage wrapped in bacon. At least I've only ever seen them as a cocktail sausage.
  15. Was it also meticulously clean?
  16. Cut it off at the ground once it's stopped actively growing and then treat the growth in spring. But it may take more than one application. Quite a long time scale though. Digging it out would get rid of it but is more labour intensive.
  17. Spacers, offcuts of the rails as it's the right thickness so the gravel boards width is fully there for sitting the f/e on.
  18. I've only ever done one fence where they wanted arris rail. Everyone round here wants square rails so you just screw them on to the post.
  19. It seems quite slow though. It's got a Forestry Mulcher to do the mulching but it's messing around with the tree when it should just be mulching it well that's how I'm interpreting it. I suppose knocking the top out the tree and then mulching down the trunk like you often do with a mulcher isn't always going to be applicable for thinning.
  20. I went to a woodland craft fair not too long ago. Willow trunk with 6 holes in it for wine bottles £650.
  21. How large are they inside? I'm not that tall at 6f 2 and I can barely fit in my mums Fiesta but that's a R reg so maybe they improved it.
  22. I just chuck to 150m or whatever the length is reel in a sealed tub full of water. So when I cut it it's already wet. I don't know how long it takes to dry out though, sometimes if I'm only doing grass and there's nothing hard to wear against one head lasts all day.
  23. What does prune back even mean? Often when people say prune back I find they mean horribly inbalance a lovely tree because their neighbour is complaining.
  24. Johny Walker on here has one.
