  1. Bandit 490xp just as good comes with 5 year warranty as well. Or Jo Beau m300 or m400. Global Newark on here are dealers for both.
  2. We've got two borders. One is thick as sh1t and the other likes to pretend she isn't.
  3. Gold Rush has gone through the same sort of thing. The first season was Todd struggling to make a living with his friends. But now its Todd being a fat idiot who just gets in everyones way but rallys them around by saying that they're in America (they're actually mining in Canada) and its the 'best god dern country in the world' and reciting some passage from the bible whilst there's shots of the American flag fluttering in the wind. He does have some nice orange work clothing though,
  4. Nope and I never said that. We have a 125 and its great. Seemingly every thread that is about a chipper that isn't a TW has Hamdogg in it putting them down and saying to buy a TW.
  5. Do you get commision every time you put down Timberwolf's rivals? It's getting a little annoying IMO.
  6. Go and have a look at it and work out a price. Work out the square metreage of the site. Add a little bit more on.
  7. Eager Beaver? [ame] [/ame]
  8. Looks like a CS100 next to the Jo Beau chipping.
  9. Annoying. I suppose skid steers for forestry applications are way more popular in American than over here.
  10. Do they plan to make a PTO version?
  11. I was told that you need the free licence for that. But its the one thats about £50 a year that you need to take away other peoples waste.
  12. 10 minutes after work is an hour before work. Or something butchered the quote a bit.

Do they have a Yanmar diesel?
  14. New stihl cataloge has the 94 engine as a kombi option. It has a 2 mix engine. Although personally our 2 4 mix's have been fine.
  15. Could you just cover it all in woodchip? It'll surpress the regrowth once its down as well as get rid of chip.
  16. Not sure how much protection chainsaw trousers are going to give you? Wouldn't the blades just shear through the kevlar fibres? I know Stihl at least make some hedge cutting specific trousers not sure how they work though.
  17. Sounds like you need a rough cut mower really.
  18. Etesia Hydro 80 has some pretty big anti scalp rollers on it for its small size. However I think a Walker mower has a ridiculous amount of movement in their decks but its an American style walk behind so not quite what you want. They do standers and ride ons but I think they're all a bit bigger.
  19. Do you argue the advantages/disadvantages of kingpost and fixed boom?
  20. 300gsm thickness is what I got. It's card like a little thinner than a business card but feels 'quality' rather than paper like. The printing quality is great, you need to design the leaflet (or have it designed) in cmyk colour mode however as otherwise the colours of the leaflet in your design won't be the same as they come out of their printers because of some reason I don't understand. Photoshop does cmyk if you're designing it yourself and I think G.I.M.P. does as well.
  21. I use leafletfrog for flyers. They're only well priced if you go above 5000 flyers which is quite a lot to hand out but its free for double side and double thickness flyers.
  22. Don't ever charge per hour there is no insentive to be efficient (or profitable) if you charge per hour. You'll make the same money each day and never go anyway.
  23. Is that a single blade on the Hayter?
  24. Get a board sign made up as well and put it up when you're doing work (like lean against the wall at the front or whatever) Only costs about 30 quid for a decent one that can stand a beat of abuse and 1 job and its paid for itself. Also I find that people see someone doing the trees/hedges whatever and think that they need it doing. But sometimes people don't want to go up and talk to you either because they don't know what you'll say or that you'll not hear due to your ear defenders and they'll be stood their like a lemon. But if they've got a sign with your details on it then they'll probably copy them down rather than just walk on by if they want some work doing.
