  1. I don't really think wounds need air and light to callous. Everything I graft gets wrapped in a rubber band and then waxed over.No air or light gets to them and they callous very quickly and strongly.
  2. One of our does this now,but only on lock. I suspect the diff....
  3. Thought I saw a Dolmar too cutting up Leylandi
  4. We have two at work.. Always something wrong with them and the chassis rust too. Whilest giving the impression of being comfortable, when pressed the suspension is uncomfortable and poorly controlled. For instance, with an empty trailer when travelling over concrete motorway sections, the rear suspension bounces in a most uncomfortable and persistent manner which shakes your guts terribly. I don't rate these vehicles very much. Cheap motors dressed up in my opinion...
  5. This is what I put on my 261 c-m, recommended by Stihl in the 2013 catalog: part no. 3003 000 6313. 16 " .050 guide bar 7 toothed sprocket:0000 642 1240 3617 000 0060. the new out(2013) Picco Super full chisel chain. Hardest thing to obtain was the chain, but I suspect Rob has these now. Really good combination in my opinion....
  6. There is a flavour of bumble bee that will be active all winter if it is mild enough. You possibly have this variety. As long as you know where they live, you should be able to live alongside each other with no problem. I have some in my shed every year and we bump into each other all the time. They just bounce off and carry on regardless. Be mindful of badgers, they dig bumble bee nests up and eat the larva.
  7. Both my 441 and 261 manuals state the same thing... Automatic adjustment. Under extremely changed conditions, Attainment of the optimal settings can be accelerated as follows: "Carry out five uniform cuts to length under full load" Does not sound too hard..
  8. What is the difference and which is better?
  9. I would take that as a No! then !
  10. Nowt wrong with it. I would be happy to have it. Well seasoned it hardly spits at all.
  11. What does the manual say about setting Autotune? The manual for my MS 261 M-tronic just says to use it . No need to re set the computer unless condition change drastically.
  12. I have the Stihl ,short and long. Both are good.
  13. I would think it would be fine mate, chop away.
  14. I think she will be fine, just a little surprised!
  15. MCPA,Glysophate and Ronstar liquid mixed.Do it Feb/March on a nice sunny day and you will be weed free for months. Sorted.
  16. Plenty of large butts up this way, none I would want to cut about with though! Never intended to buy this giant saw,I have more than I need now with the 261 coming.
  17. I did pick it up to see how it handled.Lighter that I thought and I did covet it but it is too much money and too much gear,I have no need of it,only a lust!
  18. Good luck and let us know how she fairs!
  19. Just ordered a new 261 mtronic from my dealer and he had a new 880 with 30" bar for £1050. Is that cheap or par ?
