  1. Correct, Woody. They are maidens being lifted for sale to Garden centres and nurseries.
  2. These are also very good trailers. Meredith and Eyre.
  3. I need a 100 nets of logs ,if anyone has them. Kings Lynn/Peterborough, Ely area. Preferably in 25 kilo nets.
  4. Another update. Saw played up again today , but only after it had consumed 3/4 of a tank. On looking inside , the fuel line and filter were at the back of the tank . Moved them to where they should be but did not get to use it again , had to cut some stumps up with a different saw ,but I reckon that will be the problem.

My brother is square with a lot of talk. Think it may be the fuel he uses..
  6. Update on this saw. Got it back and it seems to be fine. Bloke said he took the carb apart and cleaned it. "Try it and see how you get on". Must admit to cursing a little as I drove home , but it appears to be ok. Too much rain for a proper go. Cheers for your help.
  7. You are most welcome. My brother has a good sized Crimson King maple in his paddock that the sheep ate the bark off. I told him to take some strips of bark from another maple and use that to bridge the gap . Several pieces would work well enough to keep the tree alive. You would have to wound the area a little to lay the bark to, perhaps a light rubbing with sandpaper. Wrap it in clingfilm to tie it in and promote callousing.
  8. He also said a local tree surgeon plugged his Huskies in that he has had for three years and was really surprised to see they had only done around 50 hours cutting each ,.and twenty idling!
  9. We shall find out ,took it in today . They have a computer for it but I think they don't know how to use it !
  10. Thank you mate. Appreciate it.
  11. Cheers lads. Can give them some idea as to what it maybe incase they are numpties :what:
  12. My 261 has a running problem on the overun. Starts and runs fine , but on lifting off the throttle it comes down to a fast idle before tick over. Sounds exactly the same as if low on fuel. Have stopped using it and will take it back to the dealer , still under warranty . Any ideas?
  13. I have no idea ..
  14. Well , if you ever want a proper cartridge to have a go at wildfowl , I do cartridges like Spud does saws.
  15. Hushpower .410 on the Marsh . Could do you a good goose cartridge for that with modern stuff if you were interested. You can get semi auto .410 too.
  16. That sounds nasty. If you did want to shoot a pink , I could make you a special cartridge for a 410 so you could shoot one handed. A fella on the local clayground has one arm and shoots better than most with two !
  17. I see Don't really need one Jon , but will see if I can shift it for you.
  18. Not shot there ,had a flight on Kent . Come and have a flight down our way.
  19. Yes mate. Haunt the Wash and Ouse washes with my brother. Not done so much this season , trying to sell firewood. Did manage a trip to Scotland in November. They have a beautiful country there.
  20. This is my crew. They go everywhere with me. We love Wildfowling.
