  1. Picture appears to be a 7 tooth, but I will ask them. Thank you.
  2. Yes! I am using the Picco super chain and it is very good. I have power in reserve with this combination and would like to speed things up further with an eight tooth.
  3. Where can I get one to fit my 261? Don't think Rob D has one.
  4. I would like to ,but the price is prohibitive for me.
  5. Where do you go to get a gun that works, mine is pants, skiddy pants too.
  6. Just found this.... FD rated..so which info would you believe! 7. Might just do that.It would be the easiest solution and makes sense if I break it ,for warranty issues.
  8. Spoke with the Stihl people today, well ,Gary to be precise. He reckons the JASO and ISO ratings are smoke ,carbon and that sort of thing and not lubrication. I had a quick look on the web,and Sthil insist that HP Ultra gives the best lubrication under the most demanding conditions, compared to their other oils. Therefore I am going to use it in my 560 at 50:1. It has done my 441 C-M and 261 C-M no harm yet! My 251 ran well on it until I turned it into a 560.
  9. About 400 yards. He refuses to pull it on his own, and I don't blame him.I lead him with a line in front and we pull it together. Being cleverer than me,he has worked out that if he slows down,I will pull him and the sled!
  10. This is my replacement after my Hi cap got lost.
  11. There is no mention of ISO-LEGD on the Ultra bottle.Important information ,missing!
  12. Nothing on the bottle by the way....
  13. I suspect Stihl have got it wrong in the catalogue. One reason I posed the question. I will ring them Monday if I remember,I don't want to use Ultra at 33:1 if there is no need.
  14. Stihl HP Ultra is rated at JASO FB,whatever that is. Husqvarna clearly states in their manual for the 550/60 etc to use this spec of oil at 33:1. This is how I shall use it until I get the appropriate oil,but do you think this is a little bit of gamesmanship.
  15. This came out in the 2013 catalogue. I have it on my 261 c-m and really like it.Very clean cutting ,smooth with little kick back.
  16. Well ,when the wind blew a few trees over in the village, the power company came to sort them out.All the usual wood vultures were there sawing the remains up. I saw a woman holding a four foot length upright, with the palm of her hand on the top and her man cut a little branch off four inches from her hand....
  17. I have a complaint about my 261. Who designed that trigger? idiot design means that the right side is open and not flat so that it can pinch the meat on your finger when fully depressed. I could fill in the offending area to make it smooth, but I should not have to. Aside from that,I like it. Currently saving for a Husky. Then I will see what all the fuss is about .
  18. Good luck ,fella. I will let you know when mine breaks. Running very well so far, easy starting and quick cutting.
  19. My landy,a van ,two wing mirrors all in the same week from my road. Two tractors from Upwell etc etc etc... I don't think the Gov realises we do not want these people walking the streets. It is a fair bet that they all have "previous".
  20. I like my 261 C-M,though it has only done about four days work.
  21. I also have some, been piled up for a year. Norfolk way though
  22. I understand about children messing with stuff,I used to be one! There is no need to use Vaseline over polythene tape, just polythene will do. Regards.
  23. Truly touched by all your concern ,Lads. Will find a picture or two out. Thank you.
  24. Gone. Stolen out the front of my house. Had that motor for eleven years and it took everything I threw at it. Gutted now . Blue Defender Hi-cap TD5 X158 DVC. Taken from Wisbech, Norfolk. Cheers
  25. If you need to protect wounds ,with out using chemicals ,you could try casters wax and or shrink wrap. This should protect the wound and induce healing.
