    Wages

From an employers point of view the client might require the right quals and insurance might have an issue if there was an accident. £80-£100 if you've just qualified. £120 a day if your good and provide some kit. £150 if you can do anything and provide everything

  14. Just to round this off nicely, I sent a letter that a friend at trading standards drafted. It has some interesting bits. One was about how disappointed we were that a company of such standing in the community ( the hotel) would risk a bad reputation by failing to pay a small local company. The other suggested we would take an ad out in the paper declaring that the hotel must be bankrupt because it is unable to pay its bills. We got paid within 2 days.!! Result !!
  15. Double zip line reduction of two large oaks overhanging a bridge and a river. Have some good vids just have to work out how to post them

  19. That's been the way for me, it's got me into milling at a very cheap way to see if it's something I want to do. Now I've done a bit I will be investing in better equipment to progress. Even though the company is local I'd rather buy from a reputation and a good service.
  20. Milled up this Yew today, best bit of wood I've done so far. Will be made into tables I think.
  21. I hope so, as they use me for there advertising !!
