  1. Speedo can read higher than actual but an IVA test on a modified vehicle checks it. That's like if you are doing 70mph but reading 80 it is OK but if you are doing 70 and reading 69 it is a fail . MOT should have the facility to check same as the ministry stations have. If you have not messed with your wheel sizes or your gearing your speed should always read accurately enough not to trigger a camera.
  2. My bow saw was £3.95 with a spare blade. Still on the first blade. I'd still like a Silky type saw but not £60 worth for what I'd use one the couple of times a year I prune anything.

    Tiny echo!

My little Chinese top handle (that looks like an Echo) had a similar problem. I set it to tick over fast so it didn't stall then backed the L screw out till it slowed down. Has your carb got limiters on the screws ? I bought a diaphragm kit for the saw carb as well but thought I would try some carb cleaner down the H & L screw holes with the screws removed and it runs spot on now so the kit is in stock for later. Spare saw here on Gumtree if you want a back up
  4. Just use the stuff for restoring the interior plastics, silicone spray or whatever name it is selling under like back to black. You can get a cheap version at pound shops and it's good for squeaky drive belts as well.
  5. Where can you get a new 365xt for £400 in UK ? F.R.Jones is cheapest I've seen at £483 with no bar and chain or World of Power Buxton £523.59 with the 20" the OP is interested in.
  6. He gets his mucking words fuddled sometimes
  7. You can get a woodland trust app on Android or Iphone as well as books for something to scan while you are out and about.
  8. Including trees ?
  9. Is it a semi skip chain ?
  10. It's a female, Stubby. They're a lot tougher than us.
  11. Make it the British association of legally licensed small arb contractors and you have my support. Tree workers and allied trades symposium could be an alternative
  12. Stick a trombone on it It can alter where the power band comes in rather than the actual revs.
  13. Bats are creepy anyway, I watched lots of vampire films you're better off without them. It would have been better if instead of the trampoline you'd dropped it into a pond full of crested newts but whatever, can't have everything
  14. You can do what you want with it it's your chain Chains don't need to be balanced though.
  15. Gimme 6 bro
  16. I have an old 036 Gumtree bargain from before they fitted a decompression valve to them. It's identical to an 034 except for the badge. It still runs great.
  17. Get some 240 grit wet and dry round your finger with oil on and rub the inside. Keep trying it till it spins then clean it out and put a blob of grease in and refit it or just fit a new one
  18. Oil pump drive is behind the clutch. When the clutch and drum are off and the bearing you will see a brown plastic circle. Spin it out and it should rotate freely on the crank. Mine was stuck till I freed it off and was causing the chain to run on tickover. The springs don't exactly snap but it's an easy swap so do it anyway.
  19. As they say, he who laughs last laughs longest or thinks slowest

    Insurance

That would be my plan of action, unless you are charging people for access and any activities they may carry out in the woods.
  21. I've found that as well, the thin ones slide out easily and seem flimsy. Worth looking for a proper one.
  22. Belmont garden machinery in Selston sell me parts with no problem.
  23. I didn't include the cat because they use C for their battery saws, comfort or clean sound like possibilities.
  24. B is easy chain adjust, E is easy start and Q is quickstop plus. Not sure what the C is for it might be low emission (caring for nature in their write up).
  25. On windows 10 type system restore in your search bar bottom left and select create a restore point. System properties will open in a box and you can click on the system restore button. It will show the recommended restore but you can click on choose a different restore point and go to an earlier one when you know your computer was running properly. You don't need to do a complete install.
