  1. Bet your dogs would love it mate
  2. Just a freakin expensive cooker mate. Need your own wind turbine to run it. Makes nice cakes and keeps the kitchen warm.
  3. You don't fancy one of these electric AGAs then Jon? Only £38,600
  4. No gas, no oil and only put the immersion timer back on this week. Well i thought i had turned it on a fortnight ago but I pressed the wrong button. Only realised after the shower was stone cold!
  5. We have a big Stihl one on one of our other farms. Doesn't do anything my Nilfisk can't do and cost ten times as much. Good machine though. My old fellas missus has got a Karcher washer, only uses it to wash her car. Noticed recently that she often as not goes down the yard and uses my Nilfisk instead. Don't know why. I'm no expert on washers, just know this one has been good and I would buy another. Karcher do have a good name, and a price tag to go with it too.
  6. Oh last night I had 2 going. My missus only stops here at weekends, she is in charge of fire lighting and keeping it going. Tonight no fire, coat on
  7. Not tonight but its a bit cold in here
  8. In the link? Dunno but I have edited it so it is a clickable link now ( I hope) Half the price of the Karcher. I bought mine a few years back on a recommendation, it is still going strong and gets a lot of farm use.
  9. Buy Nilfisk Pressure Washer - 1400W at Argos.co.uk - Your Online Shop for Pressure washers. 5* rating I have similar and I am impressed with mine. I use it commercially too.
  10. I wanted to use my elevator today and while hitching it up I realised bumble bees had made a nest in the tubing. Couldn't get at it to get it out so just took the elevator away and left a log with a hole in it in its place. The bees found it and were using it by time I returned Parked the elevator in a different place but nearby, I think some found that again now..
  11. Brilliant. You do know why they are two handed operation don't you?
  12. Know a fella that parked his helicopter in a tree. Sent his son out the door, told him to climb down the tree and go and get help.
  13. Been told that is the winner.
  14. If you are thinking of changing service provider, get a pay as you go sim to try. No point committing to a contract only to find the signal is worse!
  15. Nothing wrong with Paypal as long as you know what you are dealing with. Best option is that the customer pays you as a gift. They get the fees and you don't have to worry about them cancelling it. This shows what it would cost them. Online PayPal Fee Calculator - Payment Processing Forum
  16. I have a 4S, signal is OK. I am on Three, I changed from O2 after a couple of decades because their signal has become non-existant! If you do fancy an iPhone don't believe what they told you in the shop, that is rubbish. I do sync my phone with my iPad but that isn't a reason to have either. A bit like saying the only use for a camera phone is if you upload all the pics to your pc. You can if you want but it doesn't make any difference either way. Good phones, expensive, intuitive, about as powerful as the average laptop and probably more useful (in my opinion)
  17. I prefer these BRIERS WASHABLE GARDENER OLIVE GARDENING GLOVES SIZE LARGE B0157 | eBay Bought a new pair the other day and within 15 minutes of use I cut the end of one of the fingers with the splitter. (not my finger, that was out of the way)
  18. Yep. Currently off the road through the injector chuffing. Then it snapped while being removed. Not much fun and no van for a week or two so far.
  19. This thread has given me the urge to go out and seek fence panels. Have never bought or used one so no idea what that is about.
  20. My best guess is scale insect.
  21. As far as grants and woodburners in houses go, you have to have an "approved" person fit the burner. These "approved" tradesmen charge just a bit more than the grant. Basically an awful lot of paperwork that keeps people in jobs and is of no benefit to you at all. Both myself and my cousin have both looked into it when fitting new boilers and concluded the same.
  22. Only did 30 hours last week. Had 4 days off mind. One of those days was spent fixing my tractor, I enjoyed it too.
  23. I think Delancol has gone now but we still use Systhane here.
  24. Bought one 2nd hand, no massive miles and not very old. I think it was a month later when one of the rods exited the side of the block. Plenty of oil, water, service history etc...
  25. It does indeed. Every day is a school day.
