  5. You can still get a permit from FC Scotland , but it's only for timber left after harvesting and you must cut by hand ( no chainsaw ) and no vehicles allowed either . So a bit pointless . I know a guy that has one and this is what he told me a few weeks back .

  13. Gave my trusty 1986 husky 61 away to a pal last week , still got the old 266 I bought a few months after it .
  14. When the engines running the servo gives more power to the brakes . If the pads are seized they flex more in the caliper giving a softer pedal . If all is free they move easy and contact on the disc making the pedal a bit harder . They test your servo at mot by pumping the pedal till it's hard then start the engine and the pedal should sink . But not to the floor .
  15. Get the pads out , clean and coppaslip them so they are nice and free , then see how your pedal feels , pull to one side usually means seized pads or caliper .
  16. Pads seized in calipers ?
  17. Great to see things are on the up for you Paul . All the best mate .
  18. Just in , totally mental out there tonight , limbs down everwhere and brutal flooding , winds the strongest yet and I thought last week was bad .
  19. That wall on the left is just over 4ft tall and there's 4" on top of it ! Kettle on .
  20. Take the fuel filter off and empty the contents into a container let it settle and see what's in there . Mate had the same problem with his on Sunday , turned out to be a blocked filter . Looked ok with the wee plastic plug out too .
  21. I've had a couple , the 2nd one leaked all over the place after 15 mins of rain . That's why I bought the cut and climb , expensive but well worth the money . The Stein trousers were worse than the jacket , bin for them !
  22. Woke up to the white stuff this morning .
  23. Still blowing fairly hard here this morning , a lot of rain last night again . Another day dodging branches in the baltic wind , can't complain , good earning on Friday and Saturday .

  25. I had a km130 and it had too many problems so I got rid of it . Bought a scrap km100 and swapped the shaft onto a fs70 RC strimmer engine and it's been fantastic .
