  1. Hi, There is a community project I'm involved with that is looking to have large 'rough cut' log seat type things! Is anyone in the Surrey (Croydon) area that may be interested in the job? Ta
  2. Looks good - I still havent got round to finishing (starting) mine! Planning on having a clear perspex roof instead of felt though and possibly using decking boards as they are always on special at Wickes.
  3. Try selling direct to large allotments and community farm type things - especially if they keep chickens as woodchip is worth more to them!
  4. If you have an iPhone or windows type phone its a doddle... or if you are a little set in your ways like me just click the button that takes you to the normal desktop view! Windows 8 is no big issue as they just tried to pretty it up!
  5. Are you anywhere near Croydon?
  6. Hi, I have been asked today about woodchip for a community center and was wondering if anyone wanted to drop a few loads in the Mitcham/Hackbridge area?
  7. Would Guildford be too far? There is an allotment there that will welcome it. A bit more local is Bioregional (used to be something to do withCroydon woodchip place) i will have the contact for you by tomorrow.
  8. Im thinking of much the same design but planning on a clear perspex roof with a 'hangover' at the front to try for a bit of solar assistance??
  9. Stick it on the local Freecycle site and offer to drop the load to someone - should go in about an hour!
  10. I have been using an old Polish saying I heard recently that goes "nie moj cyrk, nie moje malpy" and it means "not my problem" but the literal translation is much better as it actually means - "Not my circus, not my monkey"
  11. Great looking benches! What price are they going for (if you dont mind me asking??)
  12. Wouldn't a clear plastic roof and front on your wood store with slatted sides and back for airflow (for those of us without the space for a full ploytunnel) help the process along? I keep planning on putting one together but have not got around to it yet!
  13. Now THIS is the kind of store that I could aspire to! I currently have my logs stacked off the ground and just covered with corrugated iron - it does not work very well!
