  1. Ordered from the states, with postage and tax still cheaper than ukHusqvarna Chainsaw Parts : eReplacementParts.com just find your model
  2. Nope, no spark arrestor with this muffler, and I've gotta send the muffler to spud at some point:thumbup:
  3. Find it wonderful, had it a few years, was actually given it as my first saw, never had to put it on half revs when warm though, currently I have a problem with the exhaust setting fire to wood I'm cutting
  4. You may as well have a go for what it cost you, who knows, you might be successful
  5. You can pick up a new one for a few quid, full wrap handles are extremely useful, fitted one on my 385xp, expensive though Forgot part number is 503468301
  6. Yeah, next will be a chainsaw helmet, nice n crunchy
  7. Haha we shouldn't celebrate too soon, we haven't heard if its fixed
  8. It was pressing against the edge/inside of the clutch drum, it appears to have cut through in a few places by the looks of the pictures, if you look at the pictures on page 2, the clutch drum is proud of the brake area, although it may have twisted the actual cover.
  9. Ah, what has happened is you haven't disengaged the chainbreak and the clutch drum has cut through it, hence why the chain wouldn't turn, loosening the cover has allowed it to cut through
  10. Just get a non-etech 440
  11. Yes, it will do what you want, I've used a smaller one for pro work with no major detriment to the saw so a bit of chopping should be fine
  12. Sounds like your chain tension is too high, unless that chainbreak is off, then it's your brake band
  13. I view regular
  14. Done worse spur and flush willow pollards! With the pollards being just a 6ft high stump
  15. Gardenkit's charity spares sale?
  16. Husqy 4 series saws are a good bet
  17. Nah, the tools are either in the tool box or right next to the machine they were last used on, easiest way to find em
  18. Clean it with white spirit first, it might just be carbon fouling[ame=http://www.amazon.co.uk/Plasti-kote-HP12-400ml-High-Paint/dp/B001GUA9FE/ref=sr_1_15?ie=UTF8&qid=1354734037&sr=8-15]http://www.amazon.co.uk/Plasti-kote-HP12-400ml-High-Paint/dp/B001GUA9FE/ref=sr_1_15?ie=UTF8&qid=1354734037&sr=8-15[/ame]
  19. Buy it, the parts are generally easy to get hold of, and as to keeping it in good nick, just follow manual instructions
  20. Looks ok to me, fairly reasonable price
  21. Would ya wanna sharpen the blades on one of these? Maintenance is a nightmare, loads of grease nipples for the decks, and some you have to crawl underneath to get at, let alone the actual machine grease points, especially as it needs greasing daily in summer:thumbdown:
  22. Ianmorganarb in Stafford does cs38, where I did mine
  23. Could you not try to break up the blockage with a needle or fine pointed tool?
  24. Yes even the old cs10+ credits are still valid, although cs36 has been merged as cs30.2
  25. 544018401 - that's the part number you want
