  1. A client has asked me if I can get a rough idea of the value of some milled cedar he has. It's been milled and dry stored for 15 years apparently. Any ideas on a rough value for what's pictured?
  2. More often than I care to take notice. Slowest speed I've followed a tractor round me is 30mph with an ever increasing amount travelling 40,50 and even 55mph

  4. Not sure on the age of your machine but I was told a few years ago that any machine e.g. chipper, that is 3 or more years old is on like for like unless otherwise stated whereas under 3 years is automatically new for old
  5. That's a pita, didn't use it often but was handy when I did. What happens with regards to the return of the payment for it?
  6. Just tried to open my app and it said it needed to download something so click download and it just closes the app, had a quick look on the app store and it doesn't appear to be there anymore...am I missing something?
  7. Depends where in the country you are but they can be had for around 4k all in. I got mine done at lgf commercials in Oldham, done a cracking job. There's also a company in Wolverhampton called mad bodies that does a similar job for the same money
  8. On another note...metal of any kind is a no go foe any chipper. They have hardened steel knives which will get damaged. No carbide
  9. You sure you want a new one and not but a second hand m500? here's a video of what they are capable of
  10. I was just looking at that one, same idea as what I posted only more discreet as it can be hidden away. Can't make head nor tail of the technical pdf though haha. Thank you though, think I've got it straight what I need now, just need to figure out the correct way to plumb it in now [emoji85]
  11. You mention fitting a 6 way diverter, is this the sort of thing you are meaning? https://www.flowfitonline.com/hydraulic-valves/diverterball-valves/hydraulic-6-way-diverter-valve-closed-centre-38-bsp?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIxLD7nIny2wIVw5UbCh3DPApFEAQYAyABEgJD3PD_BwE . Where would it fit? I'm assuming in place of where the current service comes from the lever block? Sorry for pestering with so many questions but I don't really have great knowledge on this
  12. I feared that would be the case, just to clarify...you're saying the current spool will have p to t open in the neutral position? What options (if any) do I have to put an additional service lever in place with this setup?
  13. Please view this very accurate drawing for an example haha. Obviously mine has 5 levers but this is basically what I was thinking may work. Does this make sense?
  14. Thanks for the replies. The current pipe work runs a pipe from the pump to a 5 lever spool then obviously back to the tank. No room to fit a 6 lever spool so would have to be a separate lever. My thoughts were to just spur off the pump pipe to a lever with closed centre then a spur back to the tank pipe, would this work or am I thinking too simply? I'll get a pic of the setup tomorrow
  15. In particular to do with mono block lever valves? I've a mini skid steer with a 5 lever mono block valve for the controls which includes 1 service for a grab etc. My question is...is it possible to splice another lever in to have 2 services for a grab rotator? Any help would be much appreciated

Ahh okay, from my experience with skid steer they have been how you first described and with aux on foot pedal

Thats just standard skid steer controls
  18. Had an easy lift for 2 years now and still going strong. Wouldn't be without it to be honest. The only thing I broke is the plasticpart on the upright but they are sold as a spare so no dramas. If you've got a lot to do then definitely get one but if it's all fiddly stuff like you say then it may not be so good. It is a little quicker but where it really shines is with effort saving. I can do 8hrs a day 5 days a week of hedge trimming with little to no fatigue whereas before I had it, come mid week I'd be knackered and aching and going slower because of it
  19. Firstly...get a load handler, you really will not regret it! This was mine before I upgraded to a tipper. Had a rear door that came to about 4" from the top so could get a reasonable amount in
  20. Turn the Bluetooth off on your phone...
  21. He's just a piss taking Canadian, very clever though and personally I think he makes some interesting videos
  22. What ever you get, it's gonna take some abuse and with that in mind... I wouldn't spend loads of money on the sena units. Good as they may be, you'll be gutted when you break or loose it. I've been using the freedcon vb for a couple of years now with only a minor issue. Was out on a very wet day and one of them stoped working, it sat in the door pocket of the truck for a couple of months and when I went to use it again it was fine. Only £60 for a pair I believe and get good, very clear coms from climber to groundy
  23. Won't be an issue when it's been uprated. That will be all sorted in a couple of weeks [emoji3]
  24. The conversion above was £4080 all in. That's for full tipper conversion. 1.8x2x1.1 chip box, 1.8x0.5x1.1 tool locker, double full height barn doors and all lights and fuel filler adjustment
  25. I can highly recommend a company called lgf commercials in Oldham. They did this for me a month or so ago. Just search for them on facebook
