  1. "Ourselves" as well David (trying to help not be picky)
  2. Youngest is growing up a bit now but dad's new toy is still a bit TOO heavy
  3. We did originally want to bring it down to at least the top of the windows but he was worried that the guttering may come down when we took the ivy off! (Tbh he may be right as when we did the back there was a 6ft length of iron gutter balancing over the back door attached to nothing!) Roofs shot and the backs worse than the front as well.
  4. Yeah it doesn't look good I know but we did take 18" plus off the front so it was never going to be pretty, it had been left way too long before trying to bring it under control and yep hopefully become a nice regular job now.
  5. Yep! He was ecstatic! Exactly what he wanted. (up 2 me it would all b gone!)
  6. Lovely ivy job today NOT! Can't stand the stuff but at least was made relatively easy with the picker
  7. Nice old oak I spotted taking the kids to their away match today thought I would share, just a shame I didn't have a better camera with me.
  8. One of mine with the sea cadets in the parade today, we should never forget those that were lost.
  9. Going through some photos from last year and found this one which I thought I should share. 8m+ girth with a huge cavity large enough to sit in at around 8ft.
  10. I'll try to remember to post some more pics David in a year or two as it's nice and local to me. I'm hoping to aid the tree as other than the deadwood it's in good shape.
  11. Old one but in keeping with the theme
  12. Of course customers enjoy making our life more difficult than need be lol
  13. Dead wood oak from Friday (I'll apologise to Mr Humphries in advance about the loss of habitat)
  14. Kevcal try Stag bodies near Stone in Staffordshire really good company talk to Tony
  15. Ditto + mortal kombat and tekken
  16. My 6yr old running around in the pouring sideways rain at football training without a care in the world (braver than one of the lads who was "Ill" today )
  17. Viburnum of some sort just can't remember which one
  18. "Thank you, I think it looks better in real life! Where are you based?" We're based in leamington Joe but spend a fair bit of time over your way connie bashing and doing a lot of domestic hedge cutting type jobs. You've probably seen the vans about, a couple of Toyota dynas and a mitsi canter.
  19. I've been past that oak recently and wondered who did it, nice job Joe looks good when you see it in the flesh so to speak
  20. Great pics as always silky, if u happen to pass the finished carvings today is there any danger you could pop some pics up as i couldn't stay for both days and I'd love to see the end results. Thanks in advance
