  1. finally a good use for failed LOLER kit
  2. We run 2 3.5t canters and we've generally found them to be very good all round, carry the weight/tow well and are fairly nice to drive, only recurring problem we had has with the engine management light coming on now and then.

  9. Nowt wrong with heavy reduction or pollarding going on my experience, never killed one yet!
  10. Numbers are definitely increasing only time I used to see buzzards was our annual holiday down to Devon, now I see them almost every other day and will never tire of seeing them as they are magnificent birds

  13. Average week night about 5/6hrs no brekkie and then out for a minimum 10hr day, weekends 7/8hrs but still no breakfast.Been doing the same for last 8/10 years and I guess it just works for me any more than that and I feel rough.

Top bloke top marks also to arbtalk for the new t-shirts as the missus is very happy with hers and not so annoyed at me for disappearing for 2 days! All in all great show and good times had by myself and the guys with me:thumbup:
  15. Years ago not paying attention got hit by a log coming out of a conny when the climber couldn't see me, 2 broken vertebrae and pain like I've never known!

  18. Did some work for Glendale 10+ years ago but not as part of a tree crew, (horticulture team) guys I worked with were ok but wages were not great.
