  6. good luck finding one, i doubt there were many made. you would be better finding an old robinson or dankaert 30". they are more common. there are always 24" models on ebay, Wadkin RM 24?   9. i hope you haven't ringed up the tree, it's a fabulous wood.
  10. that would depend on the inside humidity level of the property that they go in to but we used to use KD timber for windows and all of it would be between 8-12%mc.

  12. i've no copy lathe, i do them all by hand. from square blank to in the box is 10-15mins. i lined them up as i wanted to take a snap as i've not had that many turned in one go before. only took 5 mins.
  13. yep, beech they are. he's cleaned me out of 4" now so i need to find more. i've still got to turn him the 4 1/2" sets of his order so another 6 sets i think.
  14. my latest load of skittles. made all for one retailer of alleys and skittles he wanted two sets of the bristol shape (left) and 12 sets of the gloucester (right). took friday to friday to cut the blanks and turn them and created about 4 cubic meters of shavings...
