  1. Thanks.
  2. Thanks Did the diesel in the oil kill the engine or have they developed a new engine without this problem?
  3. Ahh sorry. It is Friday
  4. Didn't send one
  5. Good tip Writing it up now.
  6. Thanks If I was as handy as you with kit Bob I might but not that skilled and with 4 years left on a warranty I don't fancy risking it.
  7. Not yet. Taken some persuading to even get them to look at it. If I get them to take it back would be a result. Will give them a chance to rectify it first but not holding my breath.
  8. 1 year and only 9000 miles on the clock but it's not gutless To be honest there is lots I like about it but fuel in the oil is not one of them
  9. This my understanding of what is happening but could well be tosh stocksy.co.uk - Cars - Diesel Particulte Filters (DPF) and Rising Oil Levels - The UK Government Demonstrates the Law of Unintended Consequences Was told the issues had all been sorted before I bought it and sadly it's all paid for.
  10. Couldn't say how much it's gone up by volume just an inch on the stick. 1200 miles in 6-8 weeks of mixed driving from 4-10 mile short runs to 50 miles towing on dual.
  11. Spoke with the dealer a short time back but apparently this model is up to date with the mods.
  12. For general purpose use I like this hybrid Product Details And for delicate work this is lovely Japanese Ikedame Dovetail Saw - Japanese Handsaws - Sawing - Hand Tools | Axminster Tools & Machinery For the job of cutting hefty tenons still not found much to beat a heavy backed western tenon saw.
  13. Hi all. Got a continuing problem with a rising oil level. Had it go from normal level to halfway to max in just 1200 miles. Got it booked in for a full check over but pretty sure there are no fixes available. Believe it's to do with the DPF and short trips gets diesel into the oil but that's my work so can't fix that. It's only a year old and still has 4 years of warranty left. Had planned to keep it for many years but can't imagine diesel in the oil is going to the engine much good in the long term so wondering what to do and what to expect from the dealer. What is reasonable to expect from the dealer and do all trucks hate doing short trips and dump diesel in the oil? Thanks Beau
  14. Probably best to have a spitter with it's own PTO pump. It's what we went for to have a quick splitter. Also watch the weight of the splitter. Our Krpan is the best part of half a tonne and with the amount it overhangs is right at the limit of what it can lift.
  15. Great pictures Any ideas on how much a drone that takes those quality pics costs?
  16. 2 pairs on the Lambo.
  17. Yes much better than expected. To be fair I don't have serious hills to contend with but I load the trailer up to the top now but careful to keep the load over the trailer axles to keep hitch loading to a minimum.
  18. Little 55 hp Lambo but the same as Deutz Agrokid
  19. Our little beasty
  20. Jon it works on Dartmoor I am pretty sure it can cope with Somerset rain A bit blows in on the sides when it's windy but drys out fine when the rain is not horizontal.
  21. Get hold of some IBC tanks and make up some stores like these. Cut the inner tank at an angle to make some lids. Each plastic tank will make 2 lids so you could use the spares to cover the logs you have already stacked by putting some screws through the lid into the logs.
  22. Record any program you like the look of and skip the ads or just keep to the beeb
  23. I have the Isuzu but definitely try a Ranger. It's not gutless but the gearing is too high for maneuvering loads on hills without going into low range.
  24. Nearly new single cabs are as rare as hens teeth. Looked for ages and ended up buying new but still haggled off some loose fat.
  25. Yikes. Hope have have been misinformed
