  2. I have a 2014 560 4 ish months old snapped rear av spring one above tank ordered a new one as CBa to do it under warranty & new one is oval shaped
  3. I tend to disagree my work mate had my 372, I think the cutting speed is very simular! And balance is superior on 560
  4. Hate to p@@s on your bonfire mate I've owned air power golds first boots I've bought! They leaked and lasted 5 minutes soles parted from shoe, nothing beats airstreams for comfort & strength
  5. Spend extra £10 er and get air streams last a good 18 months I wear them 6 days a week

    441 or 461

390 is a lovely saw, only a mite heavier than 576 but with loads more grunt I would have one but decided to go for 395 so I can pull my 3ft Sugi, however 24" would be 390 for sure!!
  7. Hi yes that was me, be up there All week, that's the big site of chestnut I've taken on. You will see what has been forwarded out from the road!!
  8. Not all mine, 3120 880 395 372 365 560 550 550 455 T540 201t 346 Blower
  9. 560 xpg 18" Sugi lightweight & Oregon full chisel felled over 600 tonnes of chestnut, plus general arb work, faultless, cuts just as quick as 372 and is lighter and better balanced!
  10. Think I will just keep 395 haven't really recieved enough feedback to warrant another saw!!
  11. Hi mate, I did use the 24" on 395 & whilst it sure flings chain around well it's a heavy bugger for trimming & bucking a length off. 560 on 18" and I was double cutting a bit more work but a nicer lighter saw to use !!
  12. Whys that mate? 576 is only a tad lighter than 390
  13. What's the reliability been like?
  14. Hi all, Hope everyone had a good Xmas and new year, 560 & 395 are still going like beauty's, very pleased with them both, I'm looking for some recent up to date feedback on a good middle saw. I did own a 372 a while back but sold to my mate who needed a bigger saw. Question is stick with what I know to fill gap ie 372 or are the later/newer 576's any good? After a saw to pull 24" so can keep 15-18 for 560 & 36" for 395. Not to bothered with stihl as like to keep bars & chains compatable. Thanks Josh
  15. Hi All, first ever video on here, so let the comments commence. Fred & I climbed but mostly Fred as I was trying out my new chipper. James and Darren keeping things going on the deck. Happy christmas people!! J
  16. Same boat john, Have my hilux, currently felling in Somerset ATM so need 4x4 and just bought a kangoo as a runaround, service van quoting van etc surprisingly good off-road !
  17. Where u get that exhaust from mate?
  18. I've used 390 belting saws, had a 660 sold it for a 395 & what a beast that is cracking saw
  19. This is what I've done to mine, plate riveted on with a cable tie to act as a limiter, fed up of replacing dodgy springs
  20. I'm a climber aswell, however can't see how it pays to make so much difference? Don't see how it changes breakdowns and or fuel stops? And fuel storage isn't a problem when jerry cans empty I go to local garage .5 mile away and fill up What you paying per 5l?
  21. I disagree, when two of us working on forestry, cutting/winching we are burning well over a can a day, mix, chain oil and 2 stroke oil equates to £12-15 depends on region and oils used, that equates to 2 gallons of diesel so the cost is about £30 a day give to take and half of on the saws fuel and oil ,
