  1. Hi, For the light to medium trees we use, 50m Marlow braid 12mm, 25m Sirius pull rope, Few tape slings, 5 isc steel karabiners, Padded green strop, Small isc red cast block, Small isc swing cheek pulley, And figure of eight, I was asking which lowering devices people use for day to day trees, I'm really not to keen on the portawarp, I do own one but find it flies about and we have had the rope pop off once, I like the idea that the figure of 8 is small, light simple etc but it curls the lowering rope a lot. I'm looking into other lowering devices which can be used day to day! As will just use portawarp on big jobs with the heavy lowering kit. Also looking to work out weights etc so I can see what we can lower on this light system Thanks

  3. Hi eddy, what exactly do you need to do to make it a 372?? I need a new 70cc saw and want to get one before they stop making them!! Has the 372 got mover potential ur porting etc or do both share same piston/barrel? I herd was something simple to make 365 a 372! Thanks Josh

  5. Hi, I was a carpenter & joiner for four years! Normally you would go as long as you can providing the nail wouldn't hit through the other side of what you are fixing to, I normally use a rough guage of whatever thickness of material to be fixed times 3 gives me a length of nail. Ie fencing rails 38mm so 100mm screws, Gravel board 25mm so 75mm screws, When you are talking about planed or second fix timber, skirting architrave etc I would only double length So 25mm skirting would use 50mm nail Hope this helps
