  1. Just fitted these on my hilux bought them 2nd hand ( covered approx 2,000 miles) for £150 Tool grabbers off as the grip was poo
  2. What with that and listers cheap chain oil I was in heaven not to mention the awsome breakfast bap and a pint beauty
  3. I learnt that the zig zag mk2 looks awsome and I liked it so purchased one🌴🌲
  4. I should think so with 15 hours on Jon I would put that on it in two days
  5. I'm with you couldn't afford the price increase on 20l a week would be ridiculous ic trees
  6. Hi Eddie Sorry to de rail but I've been quoted from a member on her £3 that's more than double, I'm sure it's good stuff but a can a day would seriously add up over the week £140/150 month fuel increase minimum Josh
  7. It's a better quality oil, has higher lubricating properties, burns cleaner, saws start better and don't smoke, also smells nicer
  8. I have both 201 has had the muff modded the 540 certainly is a lot faster cutting, Use the 201 on a small syc take down last week and I quite liked it both good saws, I only bought the 540 as my 201s handle fell to bits so needed a new saw quick. Think the 540 needs to be going flat out though to see the bet of it and I think it's better balanced 201 does feel a bit of a brick after using 540
  9. HAHAHA might have to upgrade the fuel filter to sieve out the apple lumps:lol:
  10. Hi mate I use Yale silver streak 1.8meters will do a long prussik with fishermans
  11. Hi mate Yes I will try it liked the zig zag as thought it was closest to what in used to
  12. Hi garden kit What's the prices? I'm looking into it but cannot really justify the last prise I was quoted, Has it gone down? With 5x saws 2x hedge cutters blower strimmer etc I'm currently burning around 20-25litrrs of mix a week Josh
  13. Glad I've seen this was about to get one at arb show , Think I will stick with my trusty prussik with pulley as anchor point. Tried tested, simple and doesn't crack 😕 more importantly it's SAFE
  14. Hi stubby No screws in the spring Looks like radmores fluffed up AGAIN Ive managed to work around it, Using the long m5 bolt but drilling one end if the spring out to 6mm so the spring can still work as pictures show also pinched your idea of the cable tie 👍 will try it out tomorrow Let me know what you think
  15. Will try and rectify with two screws else it will be one long one, getting a screw into the spring is easier said than done
  16. I've sussed the problem A big company not saying who have totally faffed the order the spring that came out had m6 thread the spring they send me had m5 thread hence the reason I'm struggling to get a stew into the spring to attach to the fuel tank thread
  17. How are you supposed to get the bolt through the spring when the head if the bolt will not pass the hole, looks like the threads in the spring can't be removed?
  18. Hi chaps, The spring has gone on the 540, new spring arived, couldn't really work out the best way to fit the new spring with the two screws, both different threads 😕, So I've tried a m5 bolt 55mm through the whole spring, saw feels stronger and there is still a bit of movement to allow for the spring to work and dampen vibrations, climbing tomorrow so will update but just started it up and it felt ok, Thoughts?
  19. Yh I do mate I now wear those thin black gloves for everything, the outside is cotton like so breathes well and the palm has a thin but strong grip, Then evenings when I shower just put some moisturiser on my hands sounds a bit soft but does help, Think it's e45 good stuff Josh
  20. Hi mate yes ok very good idea, will fill her up and then go to local bridge, Thanks
  21. Hi mate I just think it will look beat and tidy Do you have any idea what the chip wats full to the brim? The weight I can carry on mine when it arrives is 1.5 tonnes, how heavy do you think the chip is?
  22. I have a 160 brilliant piece of kit, why not either rebuild or replace the engine?
  23. Hi mate Thanks Do you jut chip straight into that trailer or do you ever use chip boards? I was thinking of cladding the high sides with thin galv sheeting and adding a half roof to keep the Sita as clean as possible Josh
  24. Hi mate, Yes please can you pm a price, And I will reply via pm 346 is screaming
  25. Hi spud how's the workload? Using 346 this week on large tree felling, think the assessor wants a blast tomorrow with it, When you get a minute I would still like a muffmod on the 372xp Thanks Josh
