Steve, It was the light pro resin bar the white one, we were felling two weeks solid for biomass job and I think the replaceable nose must of had a weekends because it bent, There isn't much choice hopefully it gets replaced as a straight swap I hate the original husky bars they are soft as poo, Oregon power match from rob d maybe?

    2014 550 xpg

Looks a nice saw might treat myself if my old 346xpg sells on the bay, My Sugi bar for my best 346xpg lasted two weeks before it bent, thought they were indestructible? Hopefully jones are sending me a replacement so will try that

  15. Thanks fir the replies chaps Think it's two votes fir 550 xp And two for 560 xp Got some thinking to do 😀
  16. Thanks mate which do you prefer? I like the lightness of the 550 but the power of the 560 Tough decision but I guess would mainly stay on a 15" bar so 550 would be best
  17. Hi chaps, As a few of you will know I had one of the early 560's 2011 I believe, it was a bag of poop. Anyway to cut a long story short I will be harvesting a fair bit of timber soon for logs next year and wondered how the "newer" saws are going & if they have rectified the known problems, Will still keep the 346xpg as a backup. If the reviews of the newer saws are good, Thanks all Josh
