  4. Hi So my chipper was getting a bit blunt today, popped into my engineer who normally does the blades (he takes ages) he hadn't had chance to do then, got a big job to do tomoz so decided to have ago myself, Normally I keep a rotation but it's caught me out this time, And I don't want to be replacing the mains again, I tried a grinder once before on a old blade and thought it was too savage so I decided to make a jig on our belt sander and try that, I think the results are ok I didn't bother with the Tiny stone chips Both measure the same front and back within 1/2 mm While I'm thinking bout chipper blades Can anyone recommend a cheap reliable sharpening service as I don't want to get caught again?, Or do I go all out and get a Tormek? Thanks Josh

  17. I hate barbed I do a lot of shooting and hunting Had done dogs nearly killed on the stuff, If the field has good grass or if no grass wack up a ring feeder with silage the sheep/cattle shouldn't bother to try and get out Some farmers I know just use plastic stakes and electrics for there milkers ( strip feeding) no barb needed there bloody stuff
  18. And look good with sip innovation 2's on red 👍
  19. thanks again for a sensible reply, why dont i just leave it? what sort of reply is that? the weight is clearly unbalanced now an is favouring towards house, trampolin, sheds etc. so my thoughts would be a reduction to regain balance and remove a lot of weight from the tips,
  20. Hi all been to view a job this morning The tree is quite large 60/70 ft 3/4ft diameter , A main limb has failed in the crown and as it's fallen it's wiped out two more, The picture should show the wounds, How's best to tackle this now? I think possibly a reduction? How well do they take it? I'm aware now that half if the tree is missing so it will be hard to make it look symmetrical again, Customers keen to keep as much height and width as possible Thanks Josh
