  1. I would agree with kernow stu, it would be far better to mill it , if it was a bit nearer I would be interested.Not often I would agree with him ! If anyone has any yew a bit nearer the South West please let me know .Thanks

  5. Can be very nicely marked , red black and green markings, but we have found it tricky to dry and still weighs a ton.This was cut on our circular rackbench

  13. Sorry I meant the price , do you mean you're paying 4 quid per hoppus ? I would pay that for oak .larch is around 35 / 40 quid / m/3 which would give you a much better profit margin

  15. I don't understand half of the above posts .As a firewood merchant buying in cordwood at over30 quid a ton , I reckon 10 quid a load has to be a bargain and contacts too .I suppose it depends on how much you want to make and the satisfaction of working for yourself
