  1. Yeah yeah yeah. You put me onto them. Ok.
  2. Local bloke is £100 a day 3 tonne with buckets and or botex timber grab. Bit more for a driver.
  3. Will say the same to you then. I'm going to be there with the lifeboat again this year. Just hope the weather is as good as last year.
  4. If you are confident in doing it and can get the sizes or numbers off the bearings try these people. They are fast at postage. Green mech bearings where £90, £12 on this site. Used there bearings for a long time now and not had any problems. http://simplybearings.co.uk/shop/
  5. Ok second time I've seen this. Think I might get a cv made up. Just got to work the PC again. Last time it went for a diving lesson. That it. I'm checking my bathroom for cameras.....
  6. I could have told you that. Only had to ask Seen that before and I did ask if there was any measurements about of a wear limit on the cranks. But found nothing.
  7. Nothing for lunch as I can't. I may have some crisps. Or one sarnie. But that's about it. Can't really eat much more than that nowadays.
  8. Yes agree fully. But that was always the order of any pow. To disrupt the enemy in any way they can. If it meant the camp had to double the guards then that was less soldiers on the front. I always watch that film. I did see the special time team dig on the tunnels. It's well worth a watch.
  9. No it's fine. We are not using them for work. Only for tuning and testing.
  10. WHAT............. I own two and work on the ground....
  11. Wow. Still isn't law tho. "Only suitable" not "must be", but I do see the points that get made tho. It is tempting to do it.
  12. Not sure where it says that top handles are for climbing only. They are still a two handed saw anyway. They are not specifically a one handed saw as there is no such thing. So long as you use it like a rear handled saw and don't just do a quick odd cut one handed.
  13. I would reccomend this. STIHL MS200 CYLINDER & PISTON ASSEMBLY 1 YR WARRANTY WITH METEOR PISTON | eBay About a week to turn up from Italy.
  14. Just out of interest. Where are you?
  15. Ohhhh. None genuine cheap chinese stuff if rubbish. If he has used a more expensive stuff then it should be ok. There is more than enough info on the bench thread about cheap pistons and there rings. I've learnt the hard way before.....
  16. Ahhh the woodruff key. Yes this needs to be located into the key on the flywheel. If this has broken it can mess with the timing of the saw but not sure it would stop it turning. Unless the remainder of the key is stuck in a certain position.
  17. Stubby is bang on. Remove the cover and check the clutch. On the drum is a needle bearing. These do need grease now and again. You will also then be able to see if the bearing has gone or not. The clutch will need removing to grease this needle bearing on a husky I believe.
  18. Thought that was an 020av. Not the 020t. They have the coil and flywheel. No points on these ones. Unless of course the could is too close to the flywheel and hitting the magnets. Take a close look, remove the plug and turn the flywheel around to ensure it's got good clearence and isn't hitting anything in the way round. Don't worry about damaging the piston or pot any more. If that's broken the damage has been done.
  19. Nope. It will jump into the transfer ports and cause some serious damage. It might go up the top part by the spark plug. And get stuck up there. Could be what the piston is hitting. But with my experience they tend to catch the edge or the piston and cause seriouse damage to it and the rings. This always leads to a new pot and piston. You can either send it back to the shop or a tech on here, or even take the pot off and have a look yourself. Always help on here from variouse people.
  20. Ok. Sorry but going for the simple stuff here. Is there enough pull cord? As in is there any left on the plastic or is the four inches the only amount of cord on it? Remove the starter assembly and check if it's getting stuck off the saw. If it is then look to see if the pawl and flywheel are ok.
  21. You need the numbers from the plates on the mower engine. These will then ensure the correct gaskets are sent. Have made some before with some good effect. Also getting given an MTD ride on mower soon. Might be a doner for some mower racing...
  22. Try gardenkit. Send him a message.
  23. So is it not turning with the plug in? But turns with the plug out?
  24. Anyone ever had hotcans. Use them on the boat, and going to get a couple for those cold days.
  25. That irritates the crap out of me. They do that at my kids school. The only wat to beat the buggy is hygiene and isolation. But parents don't care about this or they can't as they can't afford the time off work to look after them. Really winds me up. Luckily we have got away with it this year. So far.
