1. oh christ what an end to a week. just as i thought i would be shutting up shop the phone didnt stop. 200t not oiling, blocked oil pipe. honda mower, rats had eaten the fuel pipe. a garden to cut and clear. and wood chip to spread around beds. timberwolf with a fried wheel bearing, so done both sides. ridge plates on a workshop barn roof, replaced duff ones and replaced all the foam fillers. one transit, the dash had stopped working, so removed and sprayed with wd, all working again, common fault with ford dash boards, the circuit boards get dirty and the dials and clock stop working. and another transit needing new gearbox, being ordered and fitted next weekend. so after a good week and a half with nothing in that would pay a days wage for myself, i turned busy. and now im booked up for two weeks on some tree work. was really getting worried two days ago about being able to sustain myself. guess sometimes its the way it goes.
2. Sorry I did tell the missis she was rude but as usual she is always right......
3. It's was the very first aspen container cap. You just couldn't wait o get stuck in  I'm going to say, a drll.
4. Going to say a bailer, or another machine that has nothing to do with arboriculture but agriculture or horticulture. But not a mower. And the year I have no clue about.
5. As always Jon. Not sure on the start time but there is a warning out. Was on the marine radio from the coastguard earlier, also got an email saying it aswell.
6. Gale force 8 warning has been given for tonight. . We have all received a warning to not go far tonight.
7. And there I was expecting a story of outstanding bravery on a lifeboat of it getting cut off by a launch or cutting some rope to save lives on no other boat..... But a shark sounds good. Yeah I have two cards, one is normal the other is laminated so I have always got it.
8. I have a laminated garden kit card.
9. When and how did you lose the tip of your thumb Barrie???
10. Oh dear... I just asked the missis if she got the joke as I didn't. Wasn't until I read it out loud that it clicked..... Very good. Just made me look very stupid in front of the missis....lol
11. That's ok, will just do what we have done for the 7 years I have worked with you, nothing wrong with a barrow and some muscle And I do believe it was you that was on about the muck truck,:lol::lol:
12. Yeah waiting for you to throw the next bit down at me so I can get it in that chipper. Why I love the green mech soon much, it will take as much as I can throw in it and by then time I got the next bit in my hands it fed it through. At your age it's just natural for the body to slow down a bit.:lol::001_tt2:
13. The way I work mate it's the lull of when I'm waiting for the climber to catch up with me. I'm that quick the grass is on fire. The chipper is taking too long as I'm throwing branches at it like lightning. :001_tt2:c Get on, get done, go home.
14. So it sounds like a lot of people wouldn't let there crews use there phones. I look at mine now and again, purely for a time thing. Don't wear a watch so check the phone. And if I have a lull I use it, walking back from chipper etc. and why not? My life doesn't stop because I'm working, phone calls are at lunch or tea break, but texts tend to go on, and they are always from the missis. I like texting her. Something about loving someone. And for the record if anyone asked me for my phone while I was working for them they would get a few choice words and off I would go. It's my property and i will in no way hand it over to someone. Just won't happen. Simples. Oh but yes answering it while you are asking someone for work is a no no, as the moment you ask someone for work and they want to talk to you then that conversation is then classed as a job interview.
15. Couldnt agree more. Well said that man.
16. What he said And, draft levers again or low oil level.
17. yep swap the oil, run and change again. seems like water in oil. not sure how unless it got really soaked and got into the breather. also check the valves over aswell. if they have got rust on they can destroy the guides or seats. hondas are relatively bomb proof, the bore looks clean.
18. what he said. im thinking the needle is stuck open. had a 61 recently that sounds the same. although not new but same thing, would see like the fuel was being poured into the carb from a can. could be something from the manufacturing process on the carb, only takes a grain to get in there. either get a dealer to look at it and if its from the manu process then surely any dealer should be able to sort it under a warranty, other than that a tech should be able to sort it.
19.
hello john. sourced parts, left you a message on phone. looking to fit tomorow afternoon if its any good.

ha. really? next time your down let me know. will give you a guided tour. the sands are ok, its getting out of the harbour that is a problem, in easterly winds it rips past causing a big swell. can get lumpy, and if the tide is right you can ride it in and the wall gets very close.
