Another pic from the dockside this morning. Sorry if I'm boring people with the pics t I love the boat. And the job
  5. At worst he can have a mental at you for asking. He could go up his chain and say that you are trying to refuse doing work or something along those lines. But after the people above have seen that ou are being RESPONSIBLE in your work I'm sure it will be fine. They may get the kickback from felling a tpo tree but it will be you who will be after a reference when ou go looking for another job in the future. So I would check every angle before you start that saw. If it sounds dodgy or too good to be true it probably is.
  6. Should have given me a call. I would have given her a hand....
  7. Uh oh hear we go...... Disco all the way.
  8. I've been using the Oregon wepuoia or however its spelt for a while now and they are doing great for me. Comf, have used them rec climbing before to see how they were and they felt fine. These ones. Oregon Waipoua chainsaw boots | F R Jones and Son
  9. But he still climbed for fun before doing the course. It's a lot of money if you find it's either not for you or you just don't like it......
  10. So when is he next boys day out??
  11. Was wondering what the email thing that was being posted on here was about. Just checked my email..... Lovely email and you are welcome. Great cause and worth the donation IMO. To those that havnt check your email. Well done to Steve for organising the raffle. It couldn't have been easy to do. Pat on the back for you.
  12. Yep look into the brake band. Had the same on an ms260, was really tight to engage and had to give it a yank to take it off. The end of the brake band was broken. See pic. One one the right is broken end.
  13. Find some rec climbs and tag along. Gt some basic kit. A harness some rope, a climbing aid. Hitch climber works well. And a friction/ cambium saver. Then see if anyone is rec climbing near you. May I ask why you would want to go through courses if your not interested in doing it for a job??
  14. I guess they will be getting a quote for the use of the digger with operator for digging the carport then. Should be able to charge enough to pay for the rates on the adress....
  15. I've done that job before gardenkit. I did unbolt the handle complete as I didn't want to exert too much pressure on the mounts for the handle and either weaken or break them. Don't see why they couldn't have drilled a hole in the handle for easy access to the oiler tho. But now I know the handle can put up with it.
  16. If I'm the way I am now I'm buggerd in 28 years mate. Bring on old age.
  17. Maybe but for the amount of kit and type of kit it's well worth the money. You wouldn't find some of that stuff in a med kit from boots that's for sure.
  18. He would do but can't find that screw that came loose a long time ago to retune his brain for the aspen.
  19. Thanks amfell. Will look into what I can do with it. Strange one. Anyone know much about it. No chain break and has a switch on the chain cover. But think this is for the oiler control. There certainly a strange saw. Bloody heavy aswell. Wouldn't want to spend long up a tree with it that's for sure.
  20. Now if you want disgusting and wierd food try liver and onions........ Now that's disgusting. Missis loves it fried, I leave the house.
