  4. Anybody doing any milling near or around Newmarket and would like a hand for a couple of hours. I'am thinking of getting a mill and would like to see some being done to get some idea of the best set up. I have got a 660 and was thinking of getting a 30" Alaskan mill. Thanks

  6. Had mine spliced on to a new lanyard , before used a fishermans
  7. looked at them at the show on friday. they look very well made but i found when you climbed them you really have to lean forward as it tipped back.suppose it's something you would get used to do. would be great for hedge trimming because you can put the single leg in the hedge
  8. i was tought to use the other end as a work posisoner tying a bowline backed up with a figure 8 and a prussuk. cant see a problem with it. only have 1 spliced eye on the other end used with a hc, what ever works for each person i guess

  13. Had an email today ,stating that the the 3atc s.e open is cancelled Friday and Saturday due to the sponsor have made the decision to cancel because of weather conditions.:thumbdown:I

  19. found this today about ten feet up the main trunk on a horse chesnut. can't see any others on the tree and the tree looks in good health.looked in my books but can't clearly identify it. i'am sure one of you guys can, only a novice with fungi and want to make sure off its correct name.thanks
