  8. hello harvey this very true prices are similar sometimes at the moment the 7910 and the 9010 i feel personally are two different types of saws the 7910 is more slimline sllek and fast the 9010 is more of a torque monster its a bit like running a sachs dolmar 123 or 133 and comparing it to a sachs dolmar 152 or 153

  11. well said my friend a very true and honest posting about the ''red makita'' thanks stubby alll the best mate shavey
  12. as T,C,D says they are very different all the things mentioned above are true for the proffesional saws that i have seen the dolmar appears to have more cutting power and i could be wrong but i would say that the new dolmar range have been under valued and under used in the proffesional world of outdoor power products
  13. '' hello stubby saying dolmar is a red makita is nearly as bad as ''CORDWOOD'':biggrin:
  14. sorry about that everybody my mistake i meant to put in PS500C

  20. you could be right
  21. after speaking to different people in the industry who own these two saws most of them have been happy with the saws when there going and not spluttering some have taken them back and had new carbs fitted these are just a drop in the ocean to how many have been sold worldwide my question is how many new carbs have husqvarna had to replace worldwide it must be frightening how much its costing to put this warranty issue right any ideas chaps
  22. life is stressful enough without all these issues our forefathers fought for our right to buy things where we want and how we want as an outsider looking into these stihl forums it seems that stihl uk are on another downward spiral with the proffesional power tools nobody seems happy with the saws or service and is it right that the new saws cant be tuned unless they are taken back to the main dealer why put yourself's through all this hassle lifes to short an old man said to me last year in the 70's and 80's we where ''cash poor'' and ''time rich'' in the 2000's we are '' time poor'' and '' cash rich'' iam starting to think the latter is'nt as good as the former come to the forest in a few weeks time and see the races start
