  14. Yes 30" seems a bit overboard but I can honestly say approx three winters ago I had several big wind blown hedge trees ash and beech and all I had at the time was the 166 on a 44" and 123 on a 30" 3/8 050 and after the first few rings off with the big saw then the rest with the 123 now that engine is quite a square motor with a long Stroke of 40mm and bore of 46 or 47mm and max RPM of 7000-8000 made it a slugger in big wood Compared to the husqvarna 70cc at the time having bigger bore but a much shorter stroke so much higher RPM quicker on smaller stuff
  15. I agree the old SAE and Din HP rating where exaggerated And your own conclusions should be drawn from use of the said saw The 115 again is a different saw and from the 5105 as you know the 5105 is much higher rpm , but the 115 has a lower RPM max power and has gains lower down but the 5105 has gains higher so coupled with newer styling works And again the older style of the 115 works for some but not all iam one who has had one from the start It's like the predesesor to the ps-420 the 401 , 410 Totaly different but It works a great seller since its launch all those years ago
  16. Sold sold if you don't mind it being picked up by somebody else I don't need to try it I can see what it's like I will send you a PM

  24. Nice one spud what model is it you could have an elusive beast there I ve heard different tales about the bigger macs sending sparks and flames out the exhaust my old pro Mac 850 burn out its exhaust quicker than it should have
  25. There's a pic of one I sold on page 3 of this thread there might be another coming across the Atlantic but here is a few down under
