  12. use a skirting ladder, to paint the walls...
  13. Its hard graft for a few years, building up clients/trust. big investment, small return for first few years. Its not all about pruning big Oaks etc. removing bushes, trimming Landies, ground clearance, removing brambles, scrub etc to pay for chipper. get a nice reduction or dismantle once in a while. Keep vehicle and saws working, doing the paper work, keeping your partner/employee with work and wages. paying vat/tax. Where is my next job? Wife/girlfriend happy? yes its worth it, but stressful. best of luck.

    Aldi saw

ZZR I have a current MEWP ticket, I also have all the CS saw, chip, grinding and climbing tickets. The only one I dont have is is a CS47. If I am doing work at home (private), No Problem to use one with a saw. No ticket needed. If I use a mewp for work, I will need a cs47 ticket. In my opinion this ticket is a bit overkill in my case. Rigging from ropes or mewp, the same rules apply. Stay safe, know the limits etc. I Climb safely and use platforms occasional, not for tree work. If the tree is unsafe to climb, there are other companies, who will do the job. I don't like ladders, towers or platforms. Ivy and S.Jack, or Fire and prussic to stay fit.. just my two cents worth.
  20. Oh I wish.... Mate..
  21. Tuttle, will get some dyneema and give a go. Let you know how I get on. Take care.
  22. Paul, glad I'm not the only one. Spent the last week clearing brambles from an old overgrown house. Had an old c/saw and Silky and chipper. Did Ivy removal and trimming from two story house. I hate ladders, but if there is no trees to climb, houses will do. Any work is better than, sittin on your ass. Hope things improve for you. Lots of tenders in, hope some come my way.
  23. ooppppsss......
