  1. Must get the extra man for the pull line. Great use, saves the climber a lot of work. Like the safe way you get away from the limb being taken down. great video. cheers for posting:thumbup:..
  2. I hate using spikes also. will avoid them at all costs. I rarely use one hand on a saw, except for silky. got a few stabs with silky, but that was my own fault not wearing glove on my left hand. we all learn by our mistakes. great thread and every situation is different. Good debate helps us all.
  3. I think it may be Grey Gum (E punctata)
  4. Corel video Studio is free. It takes the go pro format. No help menu, unless you register. Have fun.. Ol

  13. 362 with 15" bar. will do all the work you will need. You don't need a 20" bar to cut 20" wood.
  14. It amazes me why people need such long bars to cut twigs..

    Agree Lorn, good saw.
  23. Thanks Adam, Always keen to know what other climbers use. Just spent a nice Saturday on a Rec Climb, with two other climbers. We all learned stuff from each other and swapped kit to try out. It was very enjoyable, no pressure to get job done. Will do a few more Rec Climbs, when time permits. Love my new lanyard and again thanks to all Arbtalkers for all the input.
  24. Ta Old Mill. Mostly keeping Lanyard off the ground and stopper. I have used it as an anchor point. Will put up some photos of diff apps. Ol.
  25. Thanks for all the advise and comments. This is what I now use. Love it.
