  1. And that is not a " wrong " thing to do , at all , but , what happens the next time the young lad gets a flat out in the middle of the back of beyond , all on his jack jones ?
  2. I think you missed the point. Also as far as I could tell there was no gloating just helpful suggestions when a problem occurred . The only sad bit of reading was when the Dad came and finished it off .
  3. I think we need Spud on this one @spudulike .........
  4. Perhaps all you need is a good breakfast before you pull it over ? 🙂
  5. Have you checked to see if the impulse line is split or not connected ?
  6. Yes . I have total wasting of the rotator cuff on my left shoulder as it is a metal joint and has very limited movement . Because of this my right shoulder does 99% of the work and , due to this , it has 2 snapped tendons . You have my sympathy .
  7. Hard to see in the pics but is the piston ring pin missing ? ( the pin that stops the ring rotating ) If it is could it be jamming something up ?
  8. That's a great picture Matty . Dunno why but its kinda comforting .
  9. I once had a job of ring barking most of the Sycamore in a woodland for bat habitat .
  10. Luckily they are Pfanner and Haix 😄
  11. I saw this done on a TV program a while back . Can't remember where though ...
  12. Ah but it wasn't the " wrong size " piston , just the right size but worn ?
  13. For a second there I thought it said " Enjoying a 16 year old " 😄
  14. The reason I wont be buying any more shit is because I have 4 x pairs of strides 2 X pairs of boots 6X saws 2X strimmers and lots of other associated gear and I am nearly 70 years old and everything I have will probably outlast me 🙂
  15. I currently have 2 pairs of boots ( and won't be buying anymore ) . Pfanner Zermatts and Haix something or other ( red ) and neither of them has done the above .
  16. In a Crocodile Dundee accent " thats not a ported muffler " " this is a ported muffler ! "
  17. Looks like a bog standard one to me albeit after market .
  18. Very blurred but a good chance its Magnolia . Not Ash .
  19. And at the same time , whilst your there , you could look up White Birch as well 🙂
  20. White Birch has fine hairs on the new shoots where as Silver Birch does not . You will have to decide .
