  1. We had a customer who was friends with us . She also had a gardener who was friends with us and friends with her . She , the customer had a tree come down and it smashed through a flint wall and partly through the next doors boat house wrecking the building and damaging the bout . All being taken care of by the the two insurance companies . Half way through the proceedings the gardener , bless him , told the neighbor ...." I have been telling her about that tree for months , its gonna fall " Things didn't go quite so smoothly after that .
  2. Is there an insulated double skinned flu behind the cladding ? If so it should not leak .

  9. All the types of Maple I have had anything to do with have been similar to that . Field Maple , Japanese Maple , Norway Maple etc etc and they are all heavy relatively size for size with some other woods and great fire wood .
  10. Redline Racing 2t oil ( what I use mixed with Husqvarna alkylate fuel @ 50:1 ) says it can be mixed @ 100:1 not tried it thoigh !

  12. We left a rope in a tree once ( not on purpose ) . Went back to do another job for the customer about 6 months later and collected it then . 🙂

  14. Plating is the MOT for a HGV . It must comply to the " plate weight " that is on the plate riveted to the vehicle If I remember correctly our 7.5 tonner ( horse box ) was once a year but a 10 tonner is every 10 weeks .
  15. This bit I did not realize . Just assumed from the outrage he must have done .
  16. As you rightly say Mark there is a knack to those quarter turn caps and over filling prevents you achieving it properly .
  17. This . Remember more than once sending an 020 up to the climber after a refill and most of the oil running down his leg as he un clipped it .
